you trapped in a large metal locked room (for reasons i dont care about, you can fill in that blank). all you have to escape is a bowling ball, a piece of string, and about a handful of bullets (again, reasons i dont care about). all that is standing between you and freedom is a locked metal door, a large team of armed guards, and a giant robot with a flamethrower. how do you get out. (remember, to use your inner macgyver. also if you dont like this topic, then talk about it, i dont care).

I chuck the bowling ball at most of these things, line up the bullets so that when the robot tries to burn me it ends up shooting the bullets at itself and distract any remaining enemies with the string.

I empty the gunpowder in the bullets into the bowling ball and use the sting as a fuse. I then roll the ball over to the the robot and watch as it crumbles in the explosion and when the guards come to investigate the scrap metal I'll runaway!.

I put the string down my throat to make myself sick, one of the guards would come in to see if I was ok, I smack him with the bowling ball take his gun and put my bullets into it if needed, I mow down the guards with the gun and bowl the robot over with the ball and shoot it.

i hide the bullets in the corner of the room,
i pocket the string in my left pocket,
i roll the bowling ball around a little and consider giving it a boot, like a football... but decide against it, and position it to the left of the door, not far from the wall.
i knock on the door loudly but calmly, to attract the attention of a guard...
i ask to be let out, and he says "okie-dokie, one moment please."
i wait a couple of seconds, and he unlocks the door...
then i ask him for directions to the exit, and he proceeds to give them to me...
i follow his instructions, and leave.
as i pass the giant robot, i am amased at the craftsmanship and functionality of the machine.

you didnt say the guards were hostile.

Huck the bowling ball at the door or walls until the metal fractures and gives me a nice sharp edge than I can then use to cut the soldiers up... after that, things get dicey.

O I have another way as well, I rub my hands until they are sore, I use the saw to cut the string in half, Two halves make a whole. I crawl through the hole and shout until I am hoarse. I jump on the horse and ride into the sunset.
