Finding it impossible to avoid Borderlands 2, help!

It looks like they have a lot of DLC coming out. The GOTY edition will be a long time coming so you pretty much have the choice between waiting for that to come out or buying twice, first buying the game, then buying the season pass, then buying whatever other DLC they release outside of that.

You could also just give them permanant access to your bank account and they will make withdrawals whenever they want to buy something?

I've noticed recently thought that a lot of games don't release a second GOTY edition, simply because they're not games of the year. Usually, they opt for sub-titles like Complete Edition, for example.

Sell standard edition when GOTY/complete comes? It's what I do, or just wait for this one to turn up on ebay for half price.

Any game that allows you to light up badass creepers and duel-wield sniper rifles is worth a peek. That being said, I would just buy a season pass. Who knows? Maybe Gearbox thinks that the Season Pass is good enough to secure sales from people who want to wait for a GOTY edition, so they never release one.
