I would like to start a Fire Emblem RP, set in Tellius (country in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn) after Path of Radiance and before Radiant Dawn. Here are the character sheets:

Name: Self Explanatory
Gender: Self Explanatory
Race: Beorc, Laguz or Branded
Class: Myrmidon, Fighter, Archer, Priest, Fire Mage, Wind Mage, Thunder Mage, Lance Armor, Sword Armor, Axe Armor, Lance Knight (Horseman), Sword Knight, Bow Knight, Axe Knight, Thief, Light Mage, Soldier, Pegasus Knight, Wyvern Knight, Cat, Tiger, Wolf, Raven, Hawk. If I've forgotten any FIRST TIER classes, please say so in your post.
Inventory: Vulneraries, Herbs, Weapons, gold, stuff like that.
Homeland: Gallia (if beast tribe Laguz), Phoenoceis (if bird tribe Laguz), Crimea, Daein, Begnion.
Bio: Why you're here.

In your posts include the character sheet above, and a scenario you think of.
I think our scenario should be a sort of mercanary rebellion against Begnion holding Daein, but not the Dawn Brigade. I'm open to suggestions.

I might join, but I've only played the two that were released (internationally) on the GBA, but maybe I could do some wikistudying and catch up with the story...
But I am definitely interested.

ooh! this looks like it could be interesting

although I would recommend that you create a whole new story, it makes the game more immersive and fun.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one, expect a character sheet shortly

I would agree with Toughie on the original story part.

Or perhaps an insurrection within Begnion itself before the opening of the Radiance saga. Like, a group of warriors who work to overthrow the Empress for some reason or another.

If the OP doesn't want to make the story, I'll help write it.

Character sheet will be posted in here shortly. Would we possibly be allowed to use characters from Shadow Dragon or the other FE games? I'd be interested in playing a hunter, although I'll just make an archer otherwise.

Okay then, If the OP doesn't feel like writing his own story, I would be more than happy to work with the Flying Emu to craft one

I'm still conflicted about my character though

there are so many choices!

Please include your vote in your post.
Would you prefer... A. A what if scenario about the rebellion in Radiant Dawn (Crimea)
B. Rebellion in Begnion.
C. A completely new story in a new country with new everything.
D. Other within Radiant Dawn and Path of Radiance's country

Sorry about the double post, but no.
mostly because Shadow Dragon (if we're talking the DS one) hasn't come out where I live and it would be to weird, and remember, only first tier classes, and please... not to many Wyvern Knights

Hmm... personally I would most prefer either choices B or C, but whatever you pick you can most likely expect a character sheet from me.

Choice C would be the best balance between novel creation and familiar setting. And Toughie and I are willing to help you craft the setting, if not the actual plot.

Also, the Hunter is a first-tier class, essentially an archer but with higher attack and far less defense. It's like a super-squishy archer.

But I'll stick with archer. Sniper is just too awesome of a second-tier class to pass up.

This was not at all a shameless bump.

...oh splendid, a Fire Emblem RP. Just what I have been wanting to make for oh so many months now. Well, if Emu and Toughie are going to write the story, I suppose I can live with it despite this acidic taste in my mouth. I would not mind brainstorming about the story either, but the question of what role Sporenut will play in the actual RP is thus rather relevant. The ones who write the story are the ones who will know it the best, and as such are the ones most suited for being the GMs.

Now, seeing as we are inclined to go with option C and do a wholly new world (something I would like the most as well), we need to establish ground rules for the actual RP. Seeing as that is the first thing one should formulate, I am inclined to believe you (Sporenut) is not a very experienced GM. Apologies if that seems presumptuous, but this kind of discussion is best conducted through IM, not on the forums, for obvious reasons.

There are a lot of things that needs to be cleared out in the rules. Items, combat, unit improvement, movement, how to post. A lot. This is the reason I have not set up my RP yet. If you have the time however, please do formulate the rules. But if you are going to discuss them (which you really, really should), IM would be a lot more effective, reduce the frequency of misunderstandings in communication, and not clog up the forum.

My MSN is [email protected], for starters. I would be happy to hear any ideas you have.

Name: Nathan
Gender: Male
Race: Beorc
Class: Myrmidon
Items: Vulnery x3, Iron sword, Wind Edge.
Homeland: Crimea
Bio: Nathan was born into archery, but his village decided it wasnt a good idea when he hit someone in the arm with an arrow accidentally.
Swordplay was next up, and Nathan was one of the best swordsmen in the village at 13.
2 Years later, his village caught a terrible disease, his parents were infected, and were already walking corpses.
Reluctantly, Nathan left, he knew he wouldnt live if he stayed there.
He traveled around, and eventually caught news of the freedom fighters in Crimea.
Guilt flooded around the young warrior, his country left Daein after the war, leaving the Begnion empire to take it over. Nathan felt partly responsible.
So now, he joins this war.

You forgot Cleric, Assassin and Pirate.
Assassins are not first-tier characters, and Pirates do not make a showing in the Dawn saga. He put Priest, which is basically the same thing as a Cleric. Also, please write a bio; it's so dull having no backstory to base a character's personality off of!

Perhaps I should reiterate. I'm willing to craft a world, and build conflicts between nations. I don't want to hold his hand!

But yes, Higs. You've got the right idea, as usual. Sporenut, you really should take him up on this offer; this RP's got a lot of potential, and I'd hate to see it sucking in the end. Higs knows how a good game needs to be made. He'll help you set up nice.

Ronall, leader of the flaming arrow Bandit tribe, burned his home too the ground, killing his parents in one fell night. he was out hunting at the time, at when he returned, he had nothing but Fire and the smell torn timber and burnt flesh to meet him. 4 years later, he has travelled the land ever since, searching for way Ronall and his crew, seeking revenge.

Name: Aspen Teron
Gender: Male
Race: Branded
Class: Archer
Inventory: 4x Vulneraries, Double Bow (Talon), 50 gold
Homeland: Crimea (at least what I call a homeland)
Bio: Aspen's father was a young (relatively speaking) hawk laguz and his mother a Crimean peasant woman. The coupling was viewed with much displeasure by the townsfolk and his mother was chased from their home in Crimea while his father was reassigned by the hawk king. With his father sent far away from the beorc, Aspen grew up only hearing stories of the brave laguz who rescued his mother from bandits and fell in love with her. Aspen was forced to pick up the bow to help get food for his mother and him, as they could not go into many towns, at least not more than once. Once Aspen's Mother died, he decided to become a wandering bow for higher, seemingly lacking any long-term goals. In reality, he hopes to one day find his father and give him his mother's dying message. He has named his double bow "Talon" as a sort of homage to his ancestry.

Hum.

Maybe I'll host a FE RP if my other one ends up dead.
You and me, in that case. *makes angry face like this: >:3*
And if that ends up dead, so will people. I love it way too much.

I'm fighting for it, and you know.

And yes, we shall work together to make the greatest Roleplay since... I dunno. Something damn good though.
