And by this point you probably think it'll be over hyped.

I for one hold it firmly as one of my favorite shows.

It's called hyperbole, stop being so literal.

And yes, I have seen it. Pretty good, shame it was canceled, still VERY overrated, as many nerdy things are.

Gave it a chance. Didn't like it. I know most of my friends from college ask me how I could possibly say I like sci-fi and not like Firefly to which my answer is "Well, I just do."

None of the characters really grabbed me, I felt it was grossly overhyped, and I didn't care for the setting. Enough said.

But hey, if you want to watch it, I wouldn't stop you. You definitely should make your own opinion of it.
