Just yesterday, my Firefox decided to start crapping out on me, freezing or hanging before the window disappears whenever I use more than one tab. I have the latest version of Firefox and the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, so I'm wondering if the problem is connected. The most recent Flash updates have also been crashing far more often than they did before, so I'm wondering if Flash is what is causing the problem.

My Internet Explorer still works, which is what I'm using to write this, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and what steps I can take to fix it.

Yea, I've been having similar problems with flash as well from the recent updates. Anyway, you could try reverting back to 11.2 (flash) to see if that solves that problem.

Apparently Mozilla hasn't fixed theFlash [http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/2185306/mozilla-leaves-firefox-flash-player-bug-unresolved] problem...

Turns out it was the Flash version. I reverted to 11.2 and turned off the automatic update until Mozilla fixes the problem. Thanks for your help.

I hate to be "that person," but I recommend just going Chrome. It's just so much less of a hassle than Firefox. No stupid plugins, updates aren't a pain and happen automatically. I switched over to Chrome because a while back Firefox wasn't running YouTube videos right. The player was all screwed up, and the time bar never hid itself like it was supposed to. And I too had a problem with freezing and crashing from time to time.

Plus, the address bar of Chrome doubles as a Google searchbar, so you just type something in there like you would a Google search and it searches for you.
