First Batch of Skyrim DLC to Hit Xbox This Summer

How many times is Beth going to use vampires? I'm fairly certain every Elder Scrolls has had an expansion or built in quest line involving vampires. Just kind of over the idea, really.

No you're right, the Falmer were known as snow elves, so, yeah gold star for us, I'm confused though why it's specifically called a "Snow Elf Prince" instead of a "Falmer ____"

Technically the Falmer are Snow Elves, but they've been the blind and violent monstrosities for centuries, so how do we see a prince?

Because "snow elf prince" is referring to specific person in Elderscroll's lore. The Snow Elf Prince was a mysterious elf warrior that appeared during the Snow Elves last stand against the Nords. He eventually died at the hand of a child, but he fought so fiercely and with such power that even the Nords, despite their hate for Snow Elves, respected him and buried him like a hero.

Somehow I doubt that vampires will play a major role in the DLC, though I could be wrong. It could just be a patch, or a more minor side thing. Or for a different DLC not announced yet.
But where the majority of the stuff seem to point towards Falmer/Snow Elves, which don't have much to do with vampires, I'm thinking the vampire file is less suspicious.
It could just be, as others have mentioned, that they are adding the Vampire and Werewolf Perk Trees that they showcased earlier from the staff "do what ever you want" post-release session.

But, again, vampires and crossbows I care little about. Snow elves, or at least the warped, twisted, little pricks that they are now, can rot in their mushroom infested holes in the ground, for all I care.

Though, I do look forward to more opportunities to play about in Skyrim, even if what's being teased doesn't particularly perk my pickle.

I think this DLC might involve Werewolves too, look at the bottom left of the picture. The Dovakhin has some scars, ut it looks like they might actually be some sort of tattoo or something, to me it looks like the werewolf symbol for the werewolf perk tree from the Skyrim game jam. Maybe Dawnguard has to do with the Vigil of Stendarr protecting Skyrim from "night creatures" like the Falmer, vampires, and werewolves and they're guarding the dawn. And when I think of crossbows I also think of Van Helsing with his stake launching crossbow

Oh, man, then this would be awkward. I smooshed them all into jelly with my giant mace, while doing a merry dance in my Daedric armor, laughing at their self-righteous puddle of giblets as I walked away. If the environment was flammable, that place would have burned down. Talk about awkward.

Now I think about it, they told us this right at the start - there were definitely articles on delayed DLC before release. It's hard to believe that just shy of ten years ago they released a PC exclusive.

By the way I'm throwing my support to the "Falmer Invasion" theory. Maybe there's a highly intelligent Falmer that's leading a invasion that found a way to make a endless night. And maybe the birght eye is a ability to see in total darkness when you go deeper underground to fight the Falmer main force.

I do belive Skyrim sold the most on the 360 so its no wonder Microsoft would pay a good amount for exclusive release. Might want to edit that part about Crossbows having not made an appearance in Tamriel as they appeared in Morrowind, they havent appeared in Skyrim... and technically the Falmor are Snow Elves soooooo...
