My wife and I have decided on:
Lucy Lee for a girl (She loved "I love Lucy" growing up. And yes, for extra points, my last name starts with L)
Kevin Joseph for a boy (both of our father's middle names)
I'm still trying to sell her on Vincent or Victor, as I think both of those are great names. Also, I'm trying to figure out a way of incorporating Masa and Mune into names that don't sound completely screwed up, just in case we ever have twins. Maybe middle names would work...

May I ask why you are gender switching those names? As Trevor is my first name, I feel I have a vested interest in it.Wasder said:

My second born will also be called Bob.
As will my third. And any others I have.
Instead of children, I will call them "Bobs".
When people ask if I have kids, I will say "no, but I have a bunch of Bobs".
When telling people about my day, it will be something like "well, I dropped the Bobs at school and went to work".
I will differentiate them by tone of voice.
My eldest would be like "Bob".
The youngest would be like "Bob".
And so on, so forth.

Does anyone realize that you have to agree on the name with the other parent? At least typically.
My wife and I have names picked out. Though we made a pact never to share them to anyone else until the hypothetical kids are born. Lest other people ruin the names for us. Though this is unlikely since they're pretty... 'normal' names. Nothing weird like 'Fervide' (the most recent stupid name in a long line of people i've met with stupid names)

I actually relish being a dad and often think about what I'd name my children whenever I'm a bit bored. If I had a son his name would be Gordon, it's clicks well with my last name and some of the best heroes of contemporary science-fiction sported it. If I had a daughter her name would be Sally for there never was a girls name as sweet.
