Well we have to assume these people are fairly intelligent. Most mathematicians on Earth would recognise an n-dimensional space on curved surfaces. Physical math is pretty cool.

Not sure what you're referring to here, but my point was, whether or not WE are intelligent is probably not the concern of war-like aliens, and what Earth mathematicians understand is of no value in connection with extra-terrestrials.

Yeah, sorry I just picked up the 3 dimensions thing. I haven't read the whole paper you provided but as I see our math would have wildly different concepts. But the basic rules are the same, even if they use different operations. Assuming that is true we could learn alot from eachother.
