ok, you're gonna wanna go really casual (and movies isnt a bad thing no matter what these guys say PROVIDED you hang out afterwards and you make jokes about whats happening in the movie in the cinema XD) movies and then lunch is a good idea cos its casual, it wont freak her out and you can talk about the movie afterwards and walk around the shops. malls and shopping complexes are good cos theres always plenty of stuff to do there and thus many points of conversation if ur feeling a bit awkward. if youre relaxed or seem relaxed she will be too (believe me its creepy going out with an uptight guy) and if you DO freak out a little just say so but dont forget to point out its because shes so awesome and pretty that ur nervous she'll be sympathetic and think youre sweet. flowers and gifts for a first date are a little strong but if you want to you can pay for her movie ticket or something but dont try and pay for everything. its easiest when you're yourself. i mean she agreed to go out with you because shes interested in who you are right? and besides if its youre first date with her shes probably going to be a little nervous too ^_^

You know, though for anyone else that one word answer is senseless, since I live near NYC that's an actual option. There's always something to do in NYC. Hell, just being there is an activity.

Agreed. I love the activity of dodging bullets after you accidentally insult someone's mum.

Remember that she will probably just as nervous as you are. (I don't know her so I could be wrong, but most likely). Honesty is a big one. If you are get stuck and say to her, "Sorry I'm a bit nervous", it would be a lot better than if you try to impress her and over do it. This is just me talking but from my experience with guys (not a lot...*sigh*), I find a honest and relaxed guy a lot more attractive than one who will go insane trying to show off.

Youre sixteen? Burgers and talking man. try someplace that isnt fast food, like a diner style if you can. Be casual and witty, and don't expect too much. try to be friends, and if she is interested in more, she will let you know.

See a movie then grab a drink or some food afterwards. Make sure you talk to her, obviously.

Make plans to take her to dinner, then drive your car/bike/unicycle/other-mode-of-transportation off a cliff on your way to the restaurant. Before the car falls completely make a daring escape and save her life in the process. She'll be yours no problem.

Depending on when you were planning on having the date I recommend an early movie (to give you both time to relax and get comfortable around each other without having to force conversation) and then, if it's a nice day, go hang out in a local park or get coffee or something. You should offer to pay but if she says that she would like to pay for herself you should let her. I don't mind people paying for me but I hate it when I'm not allowed to return the favour. Hope everything goes well for you.

Movies weak, No talking, no getting to know each other, restaurant is good assuming you have table manners. Something like Mini-putt, Bowling etc, is a fun thing to do, then she starts to associate you with fun. This is a good thing, A walk on a beach/park is good, try to be creative about it, but at the same time don't try to hard. Woman can sense that.

EDIT* by try to hard, I mean like, don't Overdo it, don't seem crazy.

Actually movies can be good, if they are hilariously bad and you and your partner could both have good fun teasing each other and the film.
