Mass Effect 2 on PS3 in January!
Awesome!
Really? Now I feel entitled to Shadow of the Colossus.
Here's a toast to the extinction of console exclusivity. One can hope, anyway.

It's about to go live, all Dragon Age fans should be getting ready to watch this!

EDIT: Here's the trailer if you haven't seen the DA2 trailer from the Live conference. Experience the awesome! Also, new details on the website!

Thank you very much for letting us know the trailer's been launched. I saw your post when you first made it, and am elated you've updated it with the trailer for those of us who can't sneak away from work long enough to watch the live stream. Thanks a million!
Ah thanks, it's no problem.

Am I the only one that thinks this, and the DA:O trailer for that matter, are the perfect example of false advertising? When I watched the DA:O one I thought that at least there would be a decently looking red head in the game, but no. Hell, even the live action F.E.A.R. 3 trailers show some actual game play footage...
I can agree that both are false advertising, but DA2 is supposed to be more 'action' this time around so I figure that's what the trailer is supposed to show. I have to disagree with you about Leliana, I found her plenty attractive enough, though I must agree that gameplay would have been nice.

why does this make me think of fable 3 ripoff because you're both trying to claim the throne or something and also, shouldn't bioware be working on the Old Republic?

I do seem to be one of the few people out there that didn't find her attractive, but oh well...

BioWare have different studios working on different games, they are a big company after all. One studio works on Mass Effect games, another on Dragon Age and another on SWTOR.

Also, from what i've heard of the story it's not so much claiming the throne. The game is based in the county of the Free Marches, with tons of factions but not one overall ruler. Lot's of things are different from Fable 3.

Not a bad piece of CGI there. Not wonderful, but reasonably done.

Wonder how long before we see some actual gameplay footage.

Not quite, but close. One studio works on SW:TOR and the other works on both Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

I'm looking forward to it...but then I'm also looking forward to The Force Unleashed 2, which I honestly never thought they'd be able to make due to the finality of the ending of the first one. Anyways...I'm hoping to see a larger variety of classes, specializations, and skills therein, as well as more varieties of weapons and armor. The weapon Hawke has, the sort of sword-staff-spear thing, looks pretty awesome to me, and I hope it's not a unique type.

I swear to nonexistent God, if I don't get to tear monsters in half with hands from the fiery pits of Hell, I will be pissed.

Ya know, at first I was pretty excited about the cool powers the guy showed off and the glowy eyes, then I remembered the trailers from the first game that showed a guy doing cool powers and a different color of glowing eyes, none of which actually happened in the first game.

Ah well, I liked DA:O a lot, and I appreciate any sequel that tries to go in a new direction. I'll probably lose another week of my life on a Bioware game again, come March.
