I've been noticing an increase in topics about alcohol, so I thought I'd make my own.

The title says it all; what was your first drink? Where? When? Did you enjoy it?

My first drink was a bit of bourbon when I was twelve, during my parents' Kentucky Derby party.

Hated it, haven't drank in the ten years since.

First drink: First communion wine.

Second drink: hmm... does Nyquil count? Otherwise I got nothing.

I think I had a sip of my dad's beer once. I'm pretty sure I hated it.

First drink was when I thought I could tank down vodka like a pro. Next thing I know I'm going to juvenile hall with a citation for underage drinking.....it was all worth it.

I had a sip of champange when I was around twelve (it was New Year's...and I don't remember the year). I had a whole shot glass full, but I took a sip and pushed the rest of the way. I haven't had any since. It's partly because I'm not legal yet (I will be this year), but mostly because I don't like the taste.

Yeah, I was given a sip of my dad's beer when I was a kid too.

And even if you don't count a little sip, I'm pretty sure a whole bottle or can of beer was my first whole drink too.

I had a sip of champagne when I was like seven, but that's it.
I've never really had a legitimate "drink".

My first drink was.... a pina colada! I didn't like it very much, I traded it for my friend's margarita. Now that I liked.

Edit: It was at some bar at a beach. His mom bought us the drinks.

My first proper drink was when I was 16 and at my then best friend's party. It was a vodka cruiser so not very high in alcohol.

Jack and coke!

I always knew that it was going to be my first alcoholic beverage. I pined for the moment I would first imbibe in it, waited until the day came and the opportunity arose.

And I was correct. It was the nectar of the gods. :)

Probably when I was young, around 7 or 8 and I had a taste of one of my dad's beers. I thought it was nasty :p

I had some of my dad's stout when I was too young to talk or properly remember it. I only know about it because of the pictures.
If the accompanying pictures are any indication, I had a little more than just a taste and my dad is an irresponsible fucking idiot.

First proper drink that I can actually remember was when I was about fourteen, and it was a glass of wine. Two of them, actually.
I was comparing red and white. Red was nicer.

Sips of coolers growing up. First drink when I was 14. Shot of vodka, That was followed by many other shots of vodka and whiskey. Who wants to guess how that ended?

Pretty sure it was at my friend's house out of his dad's cabinet. he got trashed and very nearly had to be hospitalized but I can't remember what he went for first and offered me.

It might have been some kind of rum. I'm feeling it was some kind of rum but IDK.

My first actual drink would be a beer while I was in Germany. I remember not liking it much, but by my second drink (Pilsner, followed by Polish Vodka) several days later I was convinced it wasn't so very bad.
Looking into my fridge now, I'd say that's a trend that's continued several years later...

A sip of port around age five. I liked it and port is still one of my favourite drinks. On the other hand, I'm really not much of a drinker. I rarely have more than one or two drinks at a time, I never binge-drink, I (almost) never get drunk, I very rarely get slightly tipsy. But I do enjoy many alcoholic drinks, I like gin, vodka, tequila, (good) wine, (good) beer, port (of course). Absolutely cannot stand rum, bourbon/whiskey/scotch.

Some mead, with my parents and their friends...

Stuff was quite strong, apparently, but it didn't affect me... whatsoever, I think. Had a pretty big glass of it.

Haven't had any alcohol since, just haven't felt like it.
