2600 Pac Man was the first console game I ever played, in like 1984. But I'd played arcade games earlier than that, Star Wars arcade in like 1982 (when I was 2 years old) was my first there. Also used to like donkey kong, pac man, space invaders, missile command, and dragon's lair.

Oh man, I have a ton of great memories playing "Barkley's Shut Up and Jam? on my Sega Genesis with my friends. It may be my favourite game for the system, after the blue hedgehog of course.

This makes me feel like a complete n00b, but the first console I actually owned was a 360! I was a massive believer in PC gaming for the longest time, never even considered getting or asking for a console until I saw what the 360 could do. However, my seco nd console was an N64 with every classic game included courtesy of Amazon, and I'll never regret buying that.

Sega Genesis, the updated version. I had 2 of those, but since I was a little prick, I busted both of the 1st player controllers and now I can't play on it, though the other 2 are fine, jsut not recognised by the console. :(

the NES. my mum used to like Mario and she would move the controller, like when you had to jump into the flag, when she pressed the button to jump she would move the controller up and over as though it would make him jump higher and further.

The first one I ever played must've been the SNES belonging to my cousins. The first one I owned was the original chunky fat Game Boy, which I got for Christmas when I was about 5 or 6. Got Donkey Kong Land 2 with it... Good times. First home console I owned was the N64 I got for Christmas when I was about 9, with Goldeneye.

NES, a little bit later though, I think it was '90. I was 5, I opened it up at Christmas with my brother, and neither of us had any idea what it was since we'd never seen a console before, but I could play a guy who shot fireballs, crushed mushrooms and turtles, and it had an orange gun for shooting ducks. It was pure awesomeness. Hell my mom even played Mario Brothers with us.

Heheh, very common in new gamers huh.. I think it's the inspiration for the Wii.
