R-Type and Bubble-Trouble on GameBoy Mini.. small.. the one smaller than the first one.
I thought it was called Game Boy Pocket?
That's the one! Cheers. That was a good system. The first game I played religiously was Pokemon Blue. Legendary game that.

Pac man. Back when arcade had REAL games, not this "time crisis 4" or whatever. I once saw a kid burn 21 dollars beating that game.

I don't know about the first game I ever played. It was a long time ago, on an Apple IIe or something along those lines. But, what I do remember, and quite vividly, is the first game that turned into crack for me. Wolfenstein 3D. Holy shitballs, I was hooked. When I wasn't playing, I wanted to be. I talked about how cool that game was with all my friends, and hell, there was a sleepover at my house once or twice so we could play that all night.

Sonic on the Sega Genesis or Duke Nukem, and I still have the laptop that I used to play it on (over 10 years old now and it still runs but it completely useless)

Curiosity, what is the first game you can remember playing? Also what system was it for?

For me it was Super Mario Land for Game Boy, but i was 5 so i had a Game Boy Color to play it on =D
Coincidentally, Super Mario Land is the first game I also remember playing. I remember it was when I was young and my dentist would give me a game boy with that game to play while I waited for the fluoride in my mouthpiece to set in. That was one good dentist.
