Either Batman or Tetris for the Gameboy, closely followed by LEGO Racers, Sonic and Knuckles 3, LEGO Island or Hercules: The Action Game on the computer.
I had a sheltered gaming childhood.

It was either Super Mario Land or Mega Man 2 and both of those were on the brick Gameboy, which I still own, that little guy is a champ for still sticking around.

I'm pretty sure it was "Peek-a-booh!". Man, such an awesome game!!!

Or maybe Super Mario Bros (NES) was what you wanted to hear?

i don't remember the actual 1st game i played but it was on the old Amstrad CPC464 cassette loader. I do have fond memories of Dizzy 1-5, (we all know dizzy) Fruit Machine (a slot machine game), Krackout (a block breaking game like the one on the blackberry curve) and numerous other that are too many to list on here but we kept that computer for yrs for when we stayed at my grandmas during the school holidays when my folks were working. i also remember my grandma kept an old Atari system that was my mums when she was a kid that had a Star wars game on it but i was only about 5 or 6 when i was playing that

really long time ago, and I was pretty young at the time, so I have absolutely no idea. it was either something on the Atari 2600 or Commodore 64.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World on the Master System Mk.2. I have those first few levels ingrained in my head even now.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I was 5 years old and it blew my mind. Absolutely life changing experience
I was not expecting to be ninja'd in this thread, but there you are. Probably about the same age as well.

It's either KidPix or some ancient Mickey game for DOS when I was 3ish. Both had to be started from the DOS prompt on my parents' Epson. :p

EDIT: Probably "Mickey's 123: The Big Surprise Party" since that's the only DOS Mickey game from around that time.

The 5th Element game, if one can actually call that playing. The thing crashed every minute.
