Im new here and i can't figure out how to search for threads, (thats a lie im just lazy), so i making one about the Too Human Demo. Im not actually sure if the game is out yet, because i don't know when the demo went online (i could wikipedia but again, laziness).
So what are your first impressions? Firstly, an awesome storeyline that mixes sci-fi seamlessly with Norse mythology (hmm halo anyone?). I really enjoyed having a number of teamates with me in the frays, makign sure i didn't just feel like im some sort of rogue unstoppable badass who can overpower everything with pure testosterone. Although i could since it was pretty easy to be honest.
Things i really didn't like were the camera, jsut keep it fixed behind the player and everything would be fine, the attacks using the right analogue stick, what on earth is that about? Not only is it annoying and boringly simple but it means if ever you attack an enemy infront of you, you'll always make exactly the same attack which is also boring.
The auto target system was clunky, keeping you locked onto enemies that are already dead, there is little skills to shooting as you dont even have to aim.
The menu system was irritating as it was not only tiny but made fuckign high pitched beeping noises evertime you select a new icon. Theres just no need.
So what im saying is that i like what its trying to do. but looks like its trying to be gears of war, combined with fighting game like heavenly sword (you know the type where you impossibly fend off hundreds of enemeies in a single encounter) with RPG elements sort of thrown into the mix and its just far too much of a cluster-fuck.
I'd go back and put this all into a nicely summarised format for you all but i really can be bothered.
What did you think of it?
