I just hope that Silverlock updates SKSE in time. For some reason Steam suddenly decided to opt everyone into the Skyrim 1.8 beta regardless of whether they wanted to or not, so I can't play without crashing. Only people still in offline mode are immune.
Is that what that random 150MB update was?
Balls.

I think I saw the Apocrypha, and if that was in fact the Apocrypha then it looks a lot different from what I expected.

I have to say this looks a lot more interesting with a lot more content than Dawnguard. Does that mean he will be able to kill Odahviing if we can bring him along?

Looks like we will be heading back to Solstheim :D
Thanks man, I'll edit it into the op

Interesting the guy said he was the first DragonBorn, wasn't Tiber Septum one of the first, or am I probably getting confused.

I saw Televani mushroom houses in that trailer. Fuck yes.

I am so getting this.

Edit: Damnit, it looks like it's going to be another timed exclusive with Microsoft. C'mon Bethesda, you said you wouldn't after Hearthfire. Doing this doesn't benefit your customers at all.

I am all kinds of excited.

But I still want Bethesda to give me the option of:

- Destroying the Thieves Guild (in a manner that is more involved than just going down to the Ratway and killing everybody).
- Wiping the Black-Briar family off the map, either by slaying them all or sabotaging their business empire.
- Joining the Silver Hand to wipe out those dogs and reforge the Companions.
- Telling the Blades where to shove it.

CHOICES Bethesda. Give me substantial, story changing CHOICES in this new DLC, and I will forgive you all your other sins.
I'd vouch for the first 2 and the fourth (don't really see much point on the third).

though what I'd like to see is the option to make the Dragonborn the next Emperor of Tamriel.

'Cause c'mon, it's the Dragonborn we're talking about, most of the known Dragonborns before Skyrim's protagonist have been Emperors, so why shouldn't the one we've been playing as get to be one?

Also, it could work as a good tie-in for a sequel, have the next royal family of Tamriel consist of Skyrim's Dragonborn and his/her descendants, keep their race and gender ambiguous to allow the audience to fill in the blanks (I can see someone wanting to imagine Tamriel being run by a Khajiit Empress, that already sounds awesome). Also, if we'll be fighting the Aldmeri Dominion in the 6th game, It can make for a number of possible reasons for the new emperor to want to go to war with them, such as an Altmer Emperor having a 'My Species Doth Protest Too Much' sort of moment, or a Khajiit Emperor wanting to free his or her people from the Dominion, things like that.

I think the general consensus is that the PS3 version is broken beyond repair and there's no point bringing out DLC for it. I caved in and just got it on PC instead...

No they didn't, they said the first two DLc would be timed exclusive, but made no comment on any DLc past that.

You cant keep your players race/gender ambiguous and make them the emperor.

the time of the dragonborn Kings is over, it was the ENTIRE point of Oblivion's MQ.

Those are some pretty cool story paths, I also want to destroy the Dark Brotherhood with one of my characters too

That was roughly my second thought upon seeing the image.

But hey, dragonriding sounds like it might be fun.

That doesn't change the fact that it's complete bullshit. The only reason to do it would be if they were being paid by Microsoft to do it, which is a reason that I honestly can't sympathize with (for the PC DLC, at least. The PS3 version has other reasons that aren't necessarily any better).

Oh well, at least I'll be able to know if it's worth twenty bucks before I get it.

All of a sudden I feel extremely vindicated for getting the 360 version.

Regardless, I guess I was wrong about Mr. First Dragonborn over there. Still, the DLC looks awesome.

Actually, awesome doesn't begin to cover it, my actual reaction was something more like "QWERTYUIOPASDFGHJKLZXCVBNM THIS IS SO AWESOME"

I literally have no words for this. Nothing that adequately describes my feelings about this DLC, at least.

You can already do that in game.

Sadly, the only faction quest that gives you the choice on how to end it.

That mask looks like a combination of a Falmer helm and a Dragon Priest mask.

I had forgotten about it. But screw them, they definitely aren't getting a penny from me if they're just going to piss about waiting to release the PS3 versions of the DLC.

Can we at least have this one on the PS3? Seriously, I need me some Solstheim! I mean, I will maybe overlook the inexcusable crap with Dawnguard not being on the PS3 if we get this (I'm mostly pissed because it looks like they're not doing anything and just hoping everyone forgets about it).

Its a pretty rubbish quest though. You're not prompted into it, its not actually made obvious that it is an option, and all you do is kill everyone in the guild, then leave. I mean, they could have done it a little better.
OT: Awesome. I'm gonna be getting a new PC soon, and this just jumped to the top of my buy list.

It looked so good, but then the idiot had to mount a dragon and my face just crashed into my desk because a facepalm wasn't good enough.
