First Resistance 3 Images Float to the Surface

It was pretty painful how they ret-conned in that whole "secret american super soldier" conspiracy thing. They should have left the origins more "mysterious". instead they wound up making it stupid and confusing. Not to mention numerous gameplay complaints.

Actually throughout Fall of Man there are hints to the Sentinel project and SRPA. The pause menu has morse code from a Black Ops squad tailing Hale throughout the entire game, which when translated (decoded?) show that they're trying to take him back in. Then they appear at the end of the game to recruit him which is where R2 picks up, so it isn't really a ret-con.
The only thing missing from Resistance 2 in my opinion was clarity, which would've been provided by Parker's narration. Otherwise it was a game I really enjoyed.

Wow, gotta say I like the look of it compared to its predecessors. Hopefully it won't be piss-poor in the story department again. 2 had some cool action set-pieces, but not much else. :/

That's right I just kind of forgot about it. It was all on there official website and that Still didn't like them suddenly sticking you with just two guns and the poor level design.

As long as it has online co-op it'll be a must buy for me.
Plus i absolutely loved the ending to Resistance 2...
