It's probable. Bethseda is good at RPGs, all they'd need to do is add an MMO to it
Last I checked, Interplay was making it. Though Bethseda might just take it and use it. Though Interplay is broke so Bethseda would be the preferred company to make it, if they get their shit together and do some glitch tests that did something.

How would VATS work?
What does VATS have to do with anything? That was a gimmick for Fallout 3, not a staple of the series.
But vats was the turn based gameplay from the first 2 games coming back in an fps reinvention.
Right. Like I said: a gimmick for Fallout 3.
It was just called 'aiming' in Fallout 1 and 2.

And then, to try and make Fallout 3 look like a fallout game (Can you tell I'm biased?), they added in the 'pause and shoot' gimmick of VATS.
If you had high enough perception and agility in the first 2 games and had the right weapons you could use VATS. You did play the first 2 games right?

"I was going to say that it's graphically inferior to Fallout 3, so therefore it's fake, but that argument doesn't work if it's Interplay making it."
I was going to say how you were wrong, and then I finished reading. It does look inferior, but not terrible.

You could target body parts, but it wasn't called "VATS" and had no silly slo-mo.

Still, I would be wary with Polygamia. It's the first time I've heard about this it, and I know most of the major sites. If it was gry.online or cdaction.pl, I would believe it.
Polygamia is owned by Agora, a major Polish media corporation. I posted the screenshots there, as well as in the Fallout wiki which I founded. Any long-time member of the Fallout community can confirm that I'm generally a reliable source on all things Fallout.

Also, they claim one of the people who worked on F1 will be working on this MMO. But they don't say who exactly.
Chris Taylor [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Chris_Taylor] (lead designer of FO1). Jason Anderson [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Jason_Anderson] also worked on it but has left Interplay.

Also, this is your confirmation. Here's one of the concept arts that I posted yesterday at The Vault wiki and Polygamia, posted today for the first time officially by Interplay:

The picture looked a bit suspect, from an unknown source but I must admit that I'm intrigued...
I haven't played an MMO before, but I'd probably give this a look (if it's real, of course).

I just hope they set it in a different place to Fallout 3...

From one of the concept arts, it looks like it's set in Washington State:http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Seattle

even if it is, i won't play it.

I ,would, like a fallout game where you can bring in a 'few' friends, run around the waistland and pick up quests together, but an MMO wouldn't work for me.

I just really am having a difficult time actually caring about most things Fallout at the moment. Yeah those screen shots look like crap, but so did WoW at one point.

I still don't trust any of the companies though.... They may wear sugar armour but the be rusty nails inside! -.-

Oh indeed I did.
Those weren't called 'VATS'. It was just an 'Aimed Shot'.
They just added a pause and shoot gimmick to Fallout 3 to make it look like fallout game.
"Look! It was sort of like this in the first 2! Now It's fallout, right?"

As long as this awful trend doesn't carry over to TES franchise, I could careless
Actually, Bethesda's sister studio, ZeniMax Online Studios, is likely working on TES Online now.

I quite liked Fallout 3. It wasn't Fallout 1 & 2 but really, nothing else will ever be Fallout 1 & 2. I grew up on those games and they still form a pretty strong benchmark for many aspects of what a game can be. Play them, play them again, then play them again and let them go... but maybe play them once more. And in between revisiting those old gems, come join us in 2009, a lot of good games have been released since then, some of them just as good as Fallout, seriously.

On topic though, this game is being "made" by Interplay, the dudes who made those first two games we all love so much. My hope is that if this game ever materialises that Interplay know what they're doing enough to realise that the standard MMO formula would not make a good Fallout game.

That said, those screens, if they are real, definetely have the appearance of something quickly cobbled together to support their court case.

Yeah, sure. Outside of the pause-shoot thing, Fallout 3 had nothing in common with the other two.

Wait, it had the exact same setting, the same brand of humor, the same level-up mechanic and perks, almost the same enemies, the protagonists were from vaults, the items...

Actually actually they have confirmed tes v on all systems but the wii. So that cuts out the chance if it being an mmo. Also, bethsda confirmed makeing tes v themselves. And lastly, a huge part of TES is mods, so they wouldn't stab the community in the face

If Fallout does become an MMO, I probably won't play it.

There might be a TES5 (although it's not officially confirmed yet, actually), but it doesn't mean there won't be TES Online too, given that ZeniMax Online explicitly mentions having access to BEthesda's IPs.

There already is a Fallout MMO, its called Fallen Earth.

I'd just be happy with Elder Scrolls 5, I wouldn't like an MMO.

I guess that would be okay, even though I don't see it happening.
