After that, yeah it's the war. More precisely I find the history of Germany from 1918 to 1945 absolutely fascinating. Since that includes the histories of those within Germany who opposed Hitler I certainly don't consider all Germans to be Nazis, now or then.
Pretty much word for word this; I think it would be nice for more media about the German Resistance.
Oh a plus the pre-unification history is pretty interesting stuff.
Plus, I really should learn German, because its an awesome language. And Germany has one of the coolest national anthems, ever.

Having every woman in any given hotel howl with anguish because German people grabbed all the sunbeds. That, and doing things efficiently. Seriously, my German room-mate insisted we have a routine tidy-up on Saturday between 10:00-11:30. He also instituted a system to decide who did the cooking. Mental guy.

Personality actually, I really honor them cause they dont fuck around, if something needs to be done they do it, good or bad, that may be why they have such good economics.

The first thing I thought of was the German flag and the word football. Also, my German classmates from high school.

Rude tourists that come with their caravans to our beaches and always dig a large hole for the whole family to sit in.

While the German caravan folk are very rude and can be obnoxious, most German tourists here are actually very friendly and polite. I don't know why owning a caravan turns a German into a egocentric a-hole, and I also wonder if that behaviour is restricted to the Netherlands, or is also observed by other German people?

My first thought was: "this is probably a test to see if I think of Nazis."

So... you win, I guess?

Potheads and techno. I've lived with 5 Germans and they were all potheads who listened to techno 12+ hours a day at a volume that made the furniture in my adjacent room vibrate. Never again will I live with a German, for the daily smell of pot throughout all the house is not one I enjoy.

I wonder if it's a generational thing. Or maybe it's only the Germans who move to Holland. Anyway, that's my experience with Germans, so it's logically my first thought.

well, I can speak a little bit of German and have a lot of German friends, but I usually think of extremley precise standards.

Also, whilst here: Germany is responsible for the worst excuse for a human being ever created, can you guess who?

David Hasselhoff, Hitler was AUSTRIAN and his name was Houtler but he changed it to sound more german.
