I'm rather delighted/surprised/saddened that Lewis Black seems to be the recurring point of agreement here. I'm also a bit surprised that the overall plot, if a little derivative, ties in with the theme as well as it does: growing up means needing to work a little harder to find happiness lest you spiral into cynicism. I imagine though that more than a few psychology types are going to be pissed at how the "negative" emotions are being treated like a disease that can be instantly cured instead of focusing on more complex problems like Clinical Depression - if they do suddenly go that latter route this could be amazing.
