I'm rather delighted/surprised/saddened that Lewis Black seems to be the recurring point of agreement here. I'm also a bit surprised that the overall plot, if a little derivative, ties in with the theme as well as it does: growing up means needing to work a little harder to find happiness lest you spiral into cynicism. I imagine though that more than a few psychology types are going to be pissed at how the "negative" emotions are being treated like a disease that can be instantly cured instead of focusing on more complex problems like Clinical Depression - if they do suddenly go that latter route this could be amazing.

The trailer made me want to watch the Toy Story trilogy and Finding Nemo again more than it made me want to watch Inside Out. I might have to include Ratatouille in there for no other reason than it is Ratatouille.

Still, it's Pixar, so I'll probably get around to watching it eventually.
