OK so now that I've watched it [small](Silly region locks won't stop me MWAHAHAHA)[/small], it's OK, the visuals are quite nice to look at and definitely look like Tron, the animation is OK but it looks a little off when the characters are talking, the style they used for the faces is odd but I like it, the music is really good, I think they used the Daft Punk soundtrack but I'm not sure, the fight scenes were great, but there's something odd about the dialogue it just feels odd, I'm kind of exited that Elijah Wood is the main character and I liked that Clu did look like Jeff Bridges, overall it's not great but I'll keep track of it because it's Tron.

They got the vibe of the new movie down perfectly, music definitely helps, though the tall, lanky character designs I could do without, and the animation looks like a weird combination of CG and Flash.

Plot wise, it moved way to fast, there was easily enough plot to fill 2, 3, or even 4 episodes.

just wished they used more of the Legacy soundtrack or very similar. I wonder why they region locked it, there no commercial or comments so they are not making money off the video, it promotional only, the more viewers the better.

I know what you mean; the architectural aesthetic was good (that train was gorgeous) but it has a almost shell-shaded feel to it thatIi can't watch for too long without straining my eyes.

All the same, things have moved on quite a bit:

Oh, and Bruce Boxleitner's voice is (still) pure sex.

And this is why I pirate some things. Although I'll buy the DVD when it comes out straight away anyway...

Given how great the Legacy soundtrack was, that isn't a point against it.
As that was the only thing saving the movie from mind-numbing mediocrity I'll give at least the soundtrack of this new thingie a go.

Legacy was such a disappointment. The first movie was this fun introduction to the infant computer nerd subculture. The sequel should have been an exploration of how the computer nerds basically took over and the whole world depends on them to function.

But instead they had a computer universe that was DISCONNECTED FROM THE INTERNET!!!1!!one!

So yeah that teaches me to be excited about an upcoming movie.

See, here's the problem with prequels: We already know how things end up.
In the film, Clu is unopposed. His major enemy having retreated and sequestered himself off grid. Therefore, we know that no matter what happens during the show, Beck must fail.
It is inevitable.

Disney seem to have locked Steve Chung in their basement to get him to do character designs.

I loved it, Cool design, great voice actors, expands on the movie and has that Batman beyond/ Spider-man feel. Also respects the audience enough to let them deal with pretty adult themes. Waaaayyyy better than I thought it would be

Maybe they can partition some space on the server to separate the city from the rest of the grid. The whole premise seems pretty localized. I like that Clu is not a big part of it, means that it doesn't affect the main story too much.

The code is just "youtube=" followed by everything after the "=" in the link. Doesn't even need a closing tag. So in this case, it would be "youtube=iCpqMqIVJDE", only with the [ ] instead of quotes. And that gives you this:
