Being fit is very important. The real problem is the deffinition of fat. Most people aren't fat, but most people are called fat. It makes no sense.

People have called me fat, which is really annoying. I actually consider myself more of a "jock" than a gamer, and I work out for about three hours everyday, doing everything from abs, sprints, agility, endurance, weight lifting, etc. I think most people can't run 5 miles in 40 minutes. Yet I'm "fat". Right...

I eat a lot and have belly for my position in collegiate american football, not because I'm a pig. The real definition of fat, to me, is when a person is horribly over weight because they're lazy and selfish and do next to nothing to provide for their physical needs, as well as realize their health effects others (both in the long run and short run).

But yea, being fit is important.
I ran 6 and a half miles in an hour, is that good? Lol

OT: I do karate, running and swimming as hobbies, and i cycle to and from school, so i would say I'm quite fit, but I'm not thin.

its simple.... BE HEALTHY... and fuck the rest
as long as your body is healthy, have fun and dont worry about society or that ***** down the street thinks of you! (give her a right slap in the face!)
if you want the whole muscle thing, go for it... but do it for yourself not because some dickhead jeers you.
All that is important is to be happy and healthy... simple

There are different types of fat. Some tight ends/power lifters/rugby players/linemen etc. may look chubby but they are in good shape. You're kidding yourself if you think most fat people fit into this group though.

Most are fat because they are lazy and eat crap. If you're an over weight child I blame the parents. If you're in your late teens or an adult its through idleness. In western society there is a gym on every corner and you can by low fat ready meals... they're made for you. NO effort required.

Can't afford? Well seasonal veg is cheap and run or jog, its free.

Losing weight is simple maths. Use more calories than you consume and you will lose weight. Easy.

You don't need to look like a skeleton
This, oh god this.

Stick thin woman are so unappealing. I like my woman with meat on their bones, something to grab on to.
This. But I wouldn't say unappealing. More like holycrapthatissodisgustingfuckIthinkmyeyesarebleedingbecauseitssohorribletolookatyouyoubloodyskeleton!

Am I making myself clear enough?

Whilst I'm not that thin, my weight is perfectly healthy for my height. A standard of health is necessary, but you don't need to be extremely thin. That is just obsessive and isn't actually healthy for someone.

I think it's important to be healthy, but not so much that you end up looking like a walking twig.

That said, I'm more on the less healthy end of the spectrum than I'd like to be, but I've got no one to blame but myself; I can't resist a good stew. A guy's got to live a little, y'know?

tbh i dont care if people want to be fat or fit. but fat people need to have some restrictions.

by this i mean the stuff they claim on the NHS.

when they sue fast food places for making them fat, cus god knows its not their fault for stuffing their faces.

benefits, they cant work, they cant do this or that. make them loose weight so that they can.

Also, if you want, tell us if YOU consider yourself to be fit. There is a lot of stereotypes about gamers being Pee-Wee Herman or the Star Wars kid.

And I hope, that it isn't true. Or rather, I know.
Sad part is my girth is a mixture of the two.

lol

As long as you don't look fat, I don't care how thin you are. I'm shallow in that aspect I guess D=

Although I don't mind chubby! Just as long as people aren't painfully thin.

Especially girls. For me, the whole attraction to girls is due to the fact that they're 'soft' if you understand what I mean. They're pleasant to touch and stuff. Thin girls are completely unappealing to me because they're just not 'soft' at all

I think it's up to everyone to decide for themselves whether they wanna be fit or fat.

I'm in no way body-builder buff, but i'm not skinny either, got some decent arms, shoulders and chest muscle and half a six-pack (top pair shows and the middle pair shows as one, while the bottom pair is only slightly outlined)

I've got skinny legs though

Im quite skinny myself, I am stronger than I look and I am in my school swimming team because of my swimmers physique (and ability of course).

i have a really slow metabolism rate, so I eat loads and dont get that much fatter. Which is great conisdering I would be obese if my metabolism was any worse.

I think the dangerously obese should try and do something about it rather than eat their feelings.

But thats just my opinion ;)

I am a skinny bastard, you can see my ribs and everything but no matter how much I eat I just can't put on weight.
I have a tiny amount of fat on me, so I can literally say "I'm all muscle"... but there just isn't much muscle on me either.
I would work out and what not but I really don't have a clue what I'm doing and am not gonna pay ££££ for some guy to tell me what to do.

Well, talking from male's perspective i dont find fat women attractive (of course walking skeletons far from sexy as well)

And I don't really care what mass media tells me. I think that each person needs to decide what is best for himself .

Talking about me, I used to be pretty dang skinny, even had some complexes going to beach. But I've been training for some time now and I'm quite muscular at the moment and I like it. This not only gives me self confidence , but makes me simply physically stronger, which is always a plus.

Appearance shouldn't mean a thing. The primary concern is being healthy, not too fat or too thin.
This. I'm carrying a bit more weight than I should but doctor's say I'm fine. I look about average as well, when I wear nice clothes.
