Iron fist? Sounds like a porno. Secondly, wasn't there a film called this in ... 2012? Had Drax the destroyer in it?

Why does this dude have the skyrim symbol on his chest?

Lastly, 3 Isn't a bad choice but 5? The most annoying character out of a list of annoying characters? Though I haven't keeping up with the walking dead, it's too dry!

Personally and this opinion is formed under no knowledge of mister fist, I think Scott Adkins is a hell of an actor! I watched him in undisputed as Yuri Boyka and could have sworn he was Russian, then I watched green street elite (don't ask why) and he was a great football hooligan! Then I watched Ninja: Shadow of a Tear and saw he can do the whole vengeance thing, you know "good guy minding his own business, then something happens and he goes psycho trying to avenge the thing that happened, then walks away like everything is fine, even though he just ended a bunch of dudes and caused a substantial amount of damage to property" thing.

Or Micheal Jai white ... in fact, here is both my recommendations fighting.

The movie you're think of was "The Man with the Iron Fists", luckily that had nothing to do with this as that movie was complete shite.

Actually, now that someone posted it, why the hell is Scott Adkins not on this list? Guy is an incredible martial artist and athlete, and I think he's a pretty decent actor as well. He's certainly fit enough to be believable that he's a mystical monk warrior guy.

Oddly enough this was a kind of running gag in the comics during the Dark Siege crossover, with a fight where Iron Fist fists Skarr, Hulk's son.

Idris Elba

What? Everyone wants him to be in everything these days...
Since he's already a character in the MCU, which the Netflix shows are a part of, this wouldn't work.

Yes, Scott would be awesome. The actor playing Luke Cage would have to double his training efforts though. Would look a bit odd if Iron Fist had the bigger mass while standing next to Cage (if Adkins always keeps this amount of muscles. From the Last movies i'd seen it looks that way). I always wanted to see what he can pull off with better scripts and dialogue. His role als Boyka was great especially in the third Undisputed movie.

Edit: kind of funny seeing this yt fighting montage. Before they anounced the actor for Cage Michael J.W. was my number one choice for the character. I still doubt that his acting would be as good as the actual actor playing L.Cage.

I'm probably going to get abuse for this butttttt I don't think an asian actor would necessarily be the best, if only because it gave a strong visual sue that Danny Rand is very much an outsider to Kun-Lun and was often treated as such until he became iron fist (and even then, Davis and others do not agree with him getting these abilities)

At the same time though, there aren't really any Asian actors in prominent roles in the MCU at the moment with the exception of agents of shield and also, it could create an interesting dynamic to the Iron fist IF it was done so iron fist wasn't originally american but gets dragged into saving hells kitchen/New York for different reasons. Harold Meachum being in league with Fisk for example. Then, as the series goes on, Iron Fist becomes convinced that he is more useful/needed in Hells Kitchen than in his home, potentially passing the duty of protecting his homeland to another hero. It would add another arc to the "outsider" storyline of Kun-Lun.
