From my understanding wasn't Arkham Knight literally unplayable for most people? Like, you couldn't even boot it up or do anything in it? I think that's slightly worse than a game that's not finished. I didn't ever buy it/play it because of what I heard so I may be wrong though..
My understanding is it ran the frame rate on a lot of GPU's was shocking even turned down to the minimum. This made fast paced section like using the bat mobile almost uncontrollable. It lloked like what they tested it on was fine but everything else was pretty poor which is some kind QA nexus nightmare.

Anyway the point was simply people got their refunds on that and everyone moaned about AAA developers releasing unfinished games like what happened here. I'm entirely sure what else they wanted from a major publisher beyond that that seamed reasonable (things like free DLC were never going to happen).

Yet here someone who has released plenty of previous games and made tons of money releases something which is clearly not finished but everyone praises him for offering refunds and the game for free. (nice if your single developers and can afford it but AAA games doing that would likely close a studio and cost people their livelihoods).

I didn't like the guy for milling out the same game twice a year, but this is a pretty nice thing to do. Props.

Well done, Scott. Well done. I actually thought this game looks fun, and...I am morbidly curious about your new game. A guy like Scott has integrity most don't expect in this industry, let alone nowadays. Kudos, man.
