You can go straight to his website, scottgames.com, and see this image. Judging solely by this picture, it already looks a lot more better, and by better, I mean scarier.

What do you think the sequel be about? Do you think it's too early for a FNaF's sequel? Share your thoughts!

This is great news. Felt that the first game was grossly overhyped, but a bigger and better sequel could potentially make a game that could be fun to play. I really want this game to succeed because I feel the setting is amazing and I wish you could explore it in full 3D. It has the potential to be an amazing horror franchise.

Welp, guess I can write off getting any sleep for 2016 and 2017 as well.

Judging by the picture, it looks like Freddy's eyes don't quite fit the sockets, and the suit looks a bit torn up. And the subtitle "Grand Reopening" makes it seem like the restaurant isn't going to close down, unlike what the newspapers said would happen.

Speculation aside, I think there should be another animatronic to spice things up. I have an idea for a new animatronic named Bozo the Bull. He's a bull created to replace Foxy as the "villain" animatronic for the grand reopening, although Foxy could still be present in the game, possibly kept away in a storage area, with Pirate's Cove being renamed "Bozo's Rodeo". Bozo will wait in his barn for a period of time before coming out. Bozo has a mechanic where he will become angry occasionally while wandering around. If he is not found quick enough after becoming angry, he will get angrier. When he gets angry enough, he will charge into the room. His charging is very loud, so you know when he does it. Also like Foxy, he can slam into the door. However, Bozo is much stronger than Foxy and can damage a door he slams into. After damaging a door 2 times, it will break and become unusable. The third time he charges, you're doomed.

Absolutely love FnaF but...does it really NEED a sequel? I thought the first one was a pretty good stand alone experience. It wrapped up nicely.

I mean maybe the sequel could also change the gameplay up, but if it's just gonna be the same thing with prettier graphics and maybe one or two new features, depending on what those are I dunno if it's necessary.

Oh who am I kidding? I don't have to over analyze everything. This is cool. I love the Freddie Fazbear gang, and I can't wait to see what the sequel is gonna bring.

Awesome. Now the original just needs to get an actual Steam release and Freddie's destiny will be fulfilled!

I like this. I loved the first one, despite how it gave me no sleep for two nights, and I'm interested to see how this new one will play out. So, time to mark 2015 as the year of no sleep as well. :D

It does have a Steam release, and it's right here.

Oh shit, when did it finally come out?! I got it like 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was still just on Greenlight.

I could have sworn it was already on Steam about 2 weeks ago or so, but I don't browse the store too much. I looked when I saw your comment, which is why I posted it for you. :3

Hopefully it get more than the Slender treatment (the Arrival was just a more polished version of the first game) and it wouldn't hurt to add abit more realism in it too (why can't you turn the fan off to try to converse energy or why not wear a suit already etc?).

I was startled out of my wits first time I saw somebody playing this game, but after a while the mechanics did get somewhat repetitive. I guess watching it made the scares get older quicker than actually playing it, so the sequel might be my entry into FNAF if it does improve on different parts. Still, I remember how stale the atmosphere of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs became, a lot like the Slenderman title's sequel. Just hoping there are actual marked changes instead of capitalizing on the hype, but even if that's not the case I'm still gonna watch people play it!

I hope it doesn't fall to the trap of a sequek trying to get too big, looking forward to see LP'ers scream in horror.
Same here.
As long as the guy who made it (I forgot his name) bulks it up just the right amount, I'll be satisfied.
Hopefully the success hasn't gone to his pride.
