Fixing Spore.

I remember, for two days spore became enjoyable under the benevolent rule of betterspore. Admittedly the space stage killed my computer but with my new pc I feel confident I could run it.

But I have run into one large problem, the gameplay package wont install, which is the only important one. All the other packages install correctly, it is only game play which remains unchanged. The forums and help page's speak nothing of it so I would be thankful for some help from the clever clogs on the escapist, because you guys really helped out last time.
I am determined to make Spore worth playing, considering how much money it cost.

Is it me or the word "wont" with very little description of the problem help the solve the problem?

What os are you running and what is your build? we can't help you without information

I have it on vista, if that helps. And I think it is the latest build of spore. The betterspore version is 1.5 (And 1.5.1 doesn't work either). The gameplay package simply fails to have any effect on the game at all.
