I've always liked them. I think there is a lot of variety in them, they are nice and colorful (mostly) or grim and dark when you want to play one of those. So, yeah, I play a lot of flash games. But what about you? All those misspent hours on the web, did they go into free games or something else

Super Mario Crossover was pretty boss.
There was this one game I played recently with a smoking mechanic, by the same guy who made A Company of Myself. Can't remember it's name though.

The Mardek RPG games are my favorite flash games of all time.

Excellent writing.
Great gameplay.
Parodies JRPG cliches and tropes.

There are a few good flash games out there but far to many of them just seem like they're just there to mindlessly play to waste some time.

I've played a fair few. Many hours in high school were spent playing Bloons Tower Defense or Gemcraft, 'cause I'd usually get my extra work done before class even got out for the day. Those are probably the only ones I've really continued playing even still every now and then, when I'm really bored.

I give respect to the person who ported Quake to Flash and uploaded it to XGenStudios. Lots of wasted time on that alone. Controls can get a bit weird though.

Great game... no real way to describe it. You "Grow" the world and try to effect it through trial and error. (Also chack out the creators other games for the other Grow games)
