I love playing on my PC. It's my most used gaming platform, but atm I think I've hit a bit of a decline. I'm trying to find something to play, but I just don't know what. I've even looked through most of my older titles.

But I've come to the realization that I want a flashy title(and no, not as in Adobe Flash), I mean big action, and gameplay(like Devil May Cry), or just big flashy moves and movement in general(like Devil May Cry, Dynasty Warriors, or Street Fighter). I already own Street Fighter 4, and Devil May Cry 4 for my PC, but I was just wondering if there are any other I could pick up.

Does any have any suggestions??

Try Crysis.

Sure, you'll need one hell of beast to run it maxed, but damn is it pretty.

Gameplay's not bad either.

AHH! You wanted game-y games. Games that don't sit there and focus on narrative and immersion, and all that.

Over the top insanity?

My specialty.

On the PC, it's limited, because Japan makes the crazy shit, and Japan doesn't like the PC.

But "Saint's Row 2" would do you well. You have a fucking Pimp Cane Shotgun. A PIMP CANE SHOTGUN. And can run around naked with a big blur on your genitals. WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED?

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" is just as good, if not better.

And I think that Blazblue was just released for PC a few months ago. Very sneakily, too.

And there are a few Guilty Gear games on PC, too.

Beast?...No no no.

You'll need an intergalactic computer designed by an ethereal race of hyperintelligent programmers and constructed from the primordial essence of the galaxy in order to run Crysis on max. :p

Ya, thats exactly it =P Game-y games!

And I did think about picking up Saint's Row 2 for the PC, but I remember hearing something about it not being ported well and having tons of issues.

And Blazblue is EU only =S (Canadian here) And apparently my computer can't even run it, though it can run Street Fighter 4 just fine.

And I did have Guilty Gear XX: #Reload...but I lost it and I can't seem to find it =[

Well, I have not played it myself, but Stranglehold might fit your criteria.

It's a little older and as far as I know, has quite a few flaws (such as being a bit repetitive and quite short), but screw all that because that game essentially is a playable John Woo Movie! It even has Chow Yun-Fat in it!

I think that should fit perfectly with being flashy and it seemingly has all the usual John Woo stuff, with over-the-top action sequences, gratuitous uses of slow motion and white pigeons, you know, all the essentials :)

Since it is a few years old, I think you should be able to get a PC version pretty cheaply and if you want flashy, what more flashy do you want than a freaking playable John Woo movie with Chow Yun-Fat ;)

You forgot to mention that you can use the Pimp Cane Shotgun as an actual cane if you walk instead of running. Also the game is flashy if you want it to be or dark and gritty if you want that.

How about Max Payne 2 with The Cinema mod? I can never get enough of it.

Darksiders was also released for PC. You might want to check it out. It's supposed to be good, but I dunno.

... uh. Darksiders maybe?

... ah damn I just saw the poster right above me mentioned it.

Assassin's Creed If you focus on the stabbing its quite, err... flashy? In fact that's the only impressive bit about it.

Just Cause 2?

oh..

Bear in mind that the controls are shit and the game runs terribly on most systems. The game is the best example of a bad console port I have ever seen. It's still fun, but just know what you're getting into. I suggest maybe getting a gamepad.

Bad Company 2 is big and flashy. Lots of explosions and buildings falling apart. Starcraft II is pretty big and flashy, with lots of big battles between people with lots of blood flying. Especially the custom gamemode, Nexus Wars.

Or... a mid-high range rig in today's market. Maybe a computer that today costs $850 in components. Not bad.

And if you have that, get Just Cause 2. Very pretty, very explosive, and very fun.

Also, Far Cry 2. While the guard posts can get very annoying after a few hours, anyone who tells you that the stealth is useless clearly never tried stealth at night. Stealth + scope + crossbow + explosive bolts (Fortune Edition) = WHEEEEEEEEEE!
