After almost 10 years out of school and nearly 7 years in a job I hate/bored with/unsatisfied, I have been searching to get back has a student to learn something more interesting and get a "better life" but now I feel like I am stuck. Because it been so long most of all the course I already taken before I dropped no longer can be applied and I have to restart almost to 0 all the college studies, so I searched through college to get which is call a specialized course, where you just do the specific course and not the other french/math/english/phylosophie you are forced through, but then I can hardly find college for the kind of course I am really looking forward.
After trying to find all the info I needed I have seen that there a big demand for the kind of studies I actually searching for but the big problem? There no course giving really directly in college, just a certain rare 2nd cycle university course. Although I found a college that are currently given the course I'm looking for but they ask to already have a college diploma, I understand you might need some weird un-neccessary high demand for such a course that anyway almost have a 100% chance to give a job after.
What is the big deal if for example a person like me has big trouble with a certain course or just don't care or just don't want to take all the hassle to complete that kind of course, with all the advancement in technology the shier number of people with other skills is there a big problem for someone with flaws in certain course that are no way related to the "job"
I have a big problem with french literature, I have a hard time getting around that course, because I'm not interested, find it really not fun and useless but I have a big big potential through the specific of the course I want, so you want down a maybe really great student because he doesn't want to "learn" literature? WTF? What are the computer and internet for? What are the other people around you that may have skill or that knowledge may interest in that domain? Really? Why is that all based around the individualist?
PS: I am sorry if this feel like a big rant but I had to vent of a little the rage inside me, thank for your understanding
PSS: For those who want to know I currently trying to find a course into Video Game Programming but can't find a thing other than the one mentioned
