Lent my PS1 and big ol' case of games to my little sisters. Somehow whilst trying to find Crash team racing (Awesome game) they managed to scratch my Final Fantasy vii, viii and ix discs, as well as some others. The final fantasy discs were the worst as they managed to scratch all the discs for vii, the first 2 for viii and disc 1 of ix (and I had just started a new game).

I still maintain they did it on purpose, and I will have my vengence.

Not in any game particular. I hate it when I am playing some type of shooter. There is a brief period of a break in the action and I forget to reload. So going into another group of baddies with like 3 bullets in the clip usually spells out death or near death. God, that just f*$king infuriates me. It is a rare moment but still happens. Can you imagine that kind of death in real life? You die because you didn't reload.

Not my clip but none the less, the biggest FML moment in gaming.
Okay, that is pityful. Don't get greedy you idiot, just knife him or pull out your secondary and pop him.

Gunslinger2009, If you see this post, I hope you tore him a new one.

As for me, my FML moment was when I played Star Wars The Force Unleashed and met the Purge Troopers for the first time...UGH! I hate them with a passion, I can't tell tell you how many times they blasted me off a cliff with their almost-never-miss-shoulder-mounted-rocket-launcher.

My brother lost my PS2 Memory Card with hours upon hours of Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 gametime saved so he could play his own.He didn't know you could put another in Port 2.
I nearly took a brick to his head in anger.
His response?
"It's ok.You can do it all again" ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

The time I accidentally formatted my PS2 memory card. I had close to 15 games at 100% percent completion, and another 10 that were pretty damn close.

I was naive, OK?!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl. My brother and I have to alternate use of the quicksave slot. It was his turn. Fine, I go to open my hard save. As soon as I click it to highlight it, game crashes. Three hours of troubleshooting do nothing to change this.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Like I said, it wasn't my video and the guy who the video belongs to, obviously can't hear you.

Just had one about 20 minutes ago. <url=http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/904/crescendo13.jpg>I know what I should decide, but...

I chickened out, got a minor ending.
Thats part of the fun of games like this. You never know which choice leads to the best endings. ;)
OT:Back when I obsessively played my N64, one of my brothers made me angry so I deleted his Zelda profile (it was my game anyways) anywho in retaliation he deleted mine as well. I had to find just one more big poe and two more heart pieces. FUUUUUUUUU

I can think of a couple. First off, I finally beat COD 5 on vet, was fucking stoked. Then I noticed I didn't get the War Hero trophy. So i went back to mission select and saw that for whatever reason, the game decided to erase all record of beating every level except Heart of the Reich and Downfall. I fucking hate Treyarch after that. I have yet to rebeat Relentless, Blowtorch and Corkscrew, and Breaking Point...on vet. Also, I got through most of The Legend of Zelda 1 in 2 hours. I decided to quit for the night but not before I went exploring other parts of the main menu. I thought Elimination Mode was like a boss fighting thing. 2 hours down the drain.

Playing Half life on ps2, walked into a tripwire and hit quicksave instead of quickload just as I died. Forced to warp back to five hours ago and take out my rage on an innocent headcrab.

World of Warcraft. I'll go to turn in a quest, and something like this will play out:

"So you have returned with the 50 Ogre Gizzards I asked you for, excellent! Well, now I need you to go back to that same area on the other side of the world from here, and obtain 100 Basilisk Testicles. Oh, you already killed 200 Basilisks while you were killing the Ogres? Heh, sorry about that. Hey, why are you drawing your sword...?"

Once my Gamecube memory card data got corrupted, had to format the data. And this wasn't one of those times where you could leave it for about a day and everything would be better. I actually had to format the memory card. So... much... data... lost...
like that but for me all of my cards failed and I was trying to play through tales of symphonia
its like the arcade game from hell.

Reached a checkpoint on Halo 3 when I was getting out of a Hornet, and plummeted to my death. I respawn in mid-air, and then fell to my death. Spawn, fall. Spawn, fall. Spawn, fall.

You get it.

This also happened in Mass Effect 1. Reached check point as I was approaching a geth sniper spot on that one world where there's lava everywhere. I got the checkpoint with the damn bot's shot in the air, which hit me with a head-shot, killing me instantly. Every time I spawned, I relived the head-shot. Again and again.

What are you personal FML moments in videogames?
Incase Some dont know, FML= Fuck my life
There was that time I put Rise of the Argonauts in my disc tray. Oh, how I wish I could spray bleach inside my Xbox without it breaking :-(
I was thinking the same thing, but replace "Rise of the Argonauts" with "inFamous" and "Xbox" with "PS3".

To make matters worse, at the time I was of the mindset that as long as I was playing the game and the trophies are easy enough, I might as well get them all regardless of how little fun I was having. I ended up finishing the game as Blue Lightning Cole (I refuse to call his personalities good and evil because they are both the same damn douchebag, only difference is the color lightning they shoot) but I still had a few of the trophies tied to playing with blue lightning. I got bored grinding XP and decided to start my red lightning and hard mode playthrough for those trophies. However, one of the times I saved, I went auto-pilot and accidentally saved over my blue lightning file. Talk about FML, now I had to play that shit THREE TIMES to get all the trophies instead of just two, because now I needed another full playthrough with blue lightning to get one of the trophies (it was for maxing out all the blue lightning moves).

The only good thing that came out of me playing that game was that after I was finished and felt absolutely no sense of accomplishment whatsoever as the "Platinum Trophy Unlocked" notification came onscreen, I realized that trophies and achievements aren't as great as I had thought and suffering through a game I am hating every single aspect of just to get more isn't worth it, and from now on I only go for completion in games I'm enjoying. So I guess I can say thanks to Sucker Punch for that, their absolute failure as game developers taught me a life lesson.

When I was younger, I'd gotten my first PS2, and had Lego Star Wars, and I'd gotten almost everything in it. I had all those little brick things, Master Jedi on every level, and all but one character left to buy. I was just rounding up the last 5,000 bolts, or whatever their called, and there was a power outage as I exited the level. Save file corrupt, had to start the whole damn thing again. Needless to say, I was pissed.
