"You've alerted the horde"
...Is what It probably should have said when I pulled that switch in the Bell Tower. Now I'm stranded with enough HP to keel over from an aggravated thumbtack, addicted to Whiskey and Sierra Madre Martinis, no ammo in my Holo-rifle, little in my police pistol, out of mines, just chucked all my grenades into the square to try to save a little effort, and a melee/unarmed skill so low I might as well be slapping them with my non-pimp hand. I have yet to climb down Twilight's Tower for fear of the ornery thumbtack, so I'm here asking if there's a way around the mob. I have one Buffout and three Martinis in my pack along with a few stimpacks and various foodstuffs. Is there a secret hole in the wall, should I duke it out with the honor guard in the square, or should I swallow all traces of pride and run like hell dodging the beartrap fists, throwing spears, and gas bombs? I am seriously considering the third option though I remember resetting one beartrap and finding it too late could prove extremely fatal. I could really use a hand as I can't see an easy way out of this bind.
