So this is a fairly easy question to answer, I hope.
Say I want to open my c drive, go to program files and then open something like WoW. Unless I click on the side bar to scroll through the folders, it opens a new window. For the record, I've tried googling it but haven't found anything. Also, I have Windows 7.

[sub]If this doesn't make sense, I'll try to get pictures or video or something[/sub]

Erm, your post is a tad bit confusing. Are you saying when you double click, in this example the WoW folder that it opens a new window for the WoW folder?
Yes that's exactly what I'm saying. Sorry for the confusing words but I have trouble bringing my post across with something I don't understand. It still opens the folder I was trying to open, but just in a new window. It gets annoying having to open and then close, six different windows just to get to a game's folder.

I think I may know how to fix this. Go to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization and then click on Folder Options. From there, The General Tab has an option for browsing folders and a setting on whether you want it to open in the same window or a new one. Select same window and hit apply, then okay. <3

I hope this helps![/quote]

Thanks for the advice. I can't check if it worked 'til tommorow because I'm on a different computer currently.
