Anyone else play this game for the PS3? It got mixed reviews but I saw it at a gamestop I was at with my buddies and I couldn't resist trying it. And so far I haven't regretted my purchase. The game is very unique. I normally don't play JRPGs, as a matter of fact i've hated all the FFs, but there is something addictive about this game. I don't know if its the corky soundtrack or just the overall weird gameplay itself, but i'm genuinely enjoying myself. Im only about three hours in mind you, but I don't see how my opinion of this game could change.

Anyways I made this post because i wanted to see if anyone else had played this seemingly "buried treasure" im sure theres got to be a few on this forum, i'd like to hear others thoughts on such an odd game.

Ah man I knew I should have bought that game. Once I get a job and a pay-check I shall head to Game Xchange post haste.

Yes, It's great. Accidentaly tried the demo and fell in love with it.

But how come you call it JRPG? It's more like action adventure, since there are basically noRPG elements apart from levels, which increase your hitpoints. I think it's a pretty decent game, one of those unknown gems.

Loved the demo, locked in an eternal struggle with finding the game since it seems to be on less shelves than Valkyria Chronicles
I hear ya, my buddy who I was with has heard me praising the damn thing for the past few days and he can't find it anywhere around here. He eventually broke down and just ordered it off of amazon, which he hates to do.

Anyways, im surprised there was a demo of it, i've literally never had heard of the game before. One of the reasons I think i like it so much, feel a misplaced sense of accomplishment for finding it on the used games shelf.

To be honest the only reason I call it that is because thats what the guy at gamestop classified it as. It looks and sounds like a JRPG to me but your right it plays nothing like one.

I had the perfect bloody opportunity last year to! it was on sale and everything and I said "I'll come back later"
Haha, i've done that a few times myself its always with a game you seemingly could not care less about at the time, and then a couple weeks later its the one game you want and the one you can't find. Oddly enough I had that experience with Shadow of the Colossus back in the day, you think they'd have one damn copy somewhere, but no such luck.

I tried out the demo and liked it. I think my friend has it, or had it at least, I've been meaning to try it out.
