A flavoured milk company/brand by the name of Big M are running a competition/vote to bring back one of their old flavours.

One of those flavours is Blue Heaven, which is one of the greatest things I've ever tasted. My friends and I have been voting every day to bring it back. It is currently 3rd, behind Egg Flip (wtf?) and Honeycomb (which unfortunately doesn't taste very good...)

So, are there any flavours of food or drink that you loved that were discontinued and how far would you go to try to get them back?

I'd accidentally break forum rules, then come up with a suitable topic to avoid mod wrath =)

PS. If you'd be so kind as to help bring back an old favourite, the website is www.bigmcomp.com.au

Actually, I will make a hissy fit out of this, thank you very much.

I'm afraid this thread counts as advertising.

Please keep in mind that advertising upon the forums is not allowed under the rules.

edit: also, there is no topic for discussion. What are we meant to talk about, how we voted?

Apologies, I should've remembered this. Edits made.
That's better...

Unfortunately, it would seem that all my favorite beverage and food flavours are still around and as such, I don't need to rescue them... I'm afraid I can't contribute any more past this point >.>

It's not gone but I'm afraid that it will be. That new Mountain Dew Whiteout is fucking delicious. I'm really hoping it wins.

Read the post again, he asked us if there are any old flavours we wish were brought back or something.

And OP, I'd drop the link. No sense advertising.

OT: I miss Squeezits. They don't make em in Canada anymore :(

There wasn't a topic at first... Basically, the thread started as only advertising. If a bit tired and didn't put a huge amount of thought into it before posting... silly me

There was this drink I remember from when I was a kid called Orbitz. It was a soda with the added gimmick of being full of little colored jello balls that looked like they were in suspended animation. It was clear and came in a clear bottle for full effect. The gimmick was all it had going for it though.

Not so much as the food itself (although it HAS changed) but the "wrapper". Big Macs used to come with a ring of sorts to keep it all together.
I liked taking it off and eating the secret sauce that got smothered onto it... those were the days

Ahh, I take it back then, sorry.

No Advertising! Bad boy!

You may want to read the forum posting and guidelines if you haven't yet seeing as how you are relatively new here...post wise

People have been suspended for less.

Well it's still out but creaming soda has always had a special place in my heart, one of the highlights of going over to my grandparents house at a young age was when they'd pour me and my sister a tall, frothy glass of the stuff with one of their delicious lunches and as such I flip with nostalgi whenever I spy a bottle in the supermarket or a can in a vending machine.

Also the bread that my grandpa has every time we go there, it's crusty and in stick form and I love having it with chilli sauce.

I definitely need to read them again. I had a look when I first signed up, but time makes fools of us all.

OT: There was a cereal who's name I've been trying to remember for years. They were balls that tasted vaguely honey-like and they were amazing... That was about 15 years ago though. Haven't seen them since

Those chickeny "Bag 'o' Bones" that used to be sold in AUS. I'd love to have those back.

Fanta Socata[pronounced Sowkatta].....oh god I loved that.

Socata is a drink similar to lemonade, only made from elder tree(not sure if that's the right translation) flowers.

It was sweet,and refreshing.

I wouldn't go far to bring it back,as it is easy to make at home.

I ate loads as a kid and then they stopped them. I think they were good... Can't remember.

Also I really want Mountain Dew in England, I miss it lots.
