Well, he could fight all the small-time criminals and crooks, and have the Ripper-mystery be the driving force behind the plot, solving somewhat unrelated cases to get closer to the truth.Reet72 said:All I'm wondering is how that game would've worked.
I mean, if it's batman trying to catch jack the ripper I can't imagine there would be too many fist fights or anything. The only way I could see this would be as an adventure game and that doesn't sound particularly fun. But that cape WAS boss. So maybe that would've made up for it.
I think it would have had potential to work well with Batman, without making the Ripper a superpowered mutant alien force that feeds on fear or something as ridiculous as that.
Most of Batman's villains are pretty normal people anyway, and it would have been nice to see him play a detective that he is.
Although, I'm sure there already exists a comic where Batman meets Jack the Ripper...
EDIT: I was right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotham_by_Gaslight
And I wouldn't be surprised if there was more. Both Batman and Jack the Ripper are things that apparently have had a crossover with everything.
