well, put me down in the red head column alongside most of the other posters it seems (although i like dark hair as well).

-5' to 6' range
-average weight or slightly heavier. Skinny people are usually a turnoff for me.

I am a girl but I have two questions for those of you who have been replying.

1. Those of you who say you like the natural "no make-up" look, do you really mean no make- up at all? Or do you mean subtle make-up? Most everyday looks I've seen are specifically intended to look like the girl is not wearing make-up when she actually is.
I'll continue to use my 3 lady-friends as examples
One looks great without makeup, but admittedly looks even better with makeup.
One looks good with minimal or no makeup.
One looks downright odd with makeup.

I think it all depends on the woman.

2. Something that hasn't been mentioned yet and I am kind of curious about is scars. How do you feel about a woman that has scars or stretch marks or the like? It may not exactly be a preference for most but I am curious if it is actually a turn off instead.
Given that I have more than my share of scars (of all the various non-self-inflicted sorts), I have nothing against them outright. Self-inflicted scars make me sad and worried, but they're not necessarily a deal-breaker unless she's still cutting herself, in which case my priorities are getting her to stop...

Really long hair, like if you can sit on it then A+ and NOT blonde.
I just really dislike blond hair.

say what if a girl had long hair down to her heels, but it was blonde, would you still like it?

Lesbian and bisexual women are happy to post too, if they want. Not an official rule, but just before anyone asks.

LOL.

How nice of you to allow that. *facepalm*

Anyway, I like brunettes and women who don't look sickly or emaciated. Beyond that, I don't really care so long as she is into doing the same things I am.
I wasn't really allowing anything, it was just bound to come up sooner or later and I decided to address the question before it was asked. I didn't make the topic, I don't have much choice in what goes on in it.
Like I said in the very first post, I dont mind if women would participate in the thread too, just that the thread is intended for men. So for all the women bisexual and lesbian minorities, you're welcome to post here too. Just beware that the thread is intended for men, but not exclusively for men. Actually, I believe we all are interested to hear what lesbian/bisexual women think about other women, and Im glad to see some women on the forum decided to post here too. I guess my initial intention to make the thread intended for men only was a bad idea, but its probably too late to change that now.

Well, I?m into various types of women, but I guess a universal ?type preference? would be light-skinned, decent-looking, somewhat androgynous, fit, tall, slender, and has smooth thighs. I don?t care about hair length (although I?ve found myself preferring short hair, but it depends on the cut/style?there?s a girl with a Frankie Sandford-style cut who?s a year older than me in my sixth form; she is stunning), none to moderate pubic hair, hair colour, or breast size. As long as they?re not bald, dark-skinned (only exception is Halle Berry), anorexic, obese, butt-ugly, has an impenetrable bush like trying to cut through a hedge, or caked in make-up to the point of looking like a clown (e.g. those creatures on Geordie Shore), then I don?t mind.

If I had to pick someone as an example?Winona Ryder, especially when she had short hair.

Fuck yeah. I think she is one woman that I can say with all certainty looks better with short hair, rather than long hair. But maybe that?s just me. You know, what really makes it nice is when you have the juxtaposition of somewhat masculine hair with feminine clothing. I just really like that. But you might need to have the right face and head shape for it (e.g. http://pixie-cropped.tumblr.com/faceshapes) because, while I like Winona Ryder with short hair, Ginnifer Goodwin with short hair looks a bit too ?12-year-old boy? for my liking.

And for the record (body parts): thighs > breasts > buttocks
(Short-haired haircuts): asymmetrical > bob = pixie cut > undercut > sidecut

almost definitely, the super long hair trumps the blonde thing, and my last GF had shoulder length blonde so it's not set in stone or anything.
I forgot to mention, that short hair is nice as well.

Honestly, I don't really care that much. I don't really have any preselected requirements for people I'm attracted to. I've been attracted to all sorts of people, mostly women xP.

EDIT: So any external look I find attractive... is how I prefer it.

Has to be shorter than me (not hard, I'm 5"11), preferably brunette, lean build but some curves are always nice (no anorexic-thin please, ew). Hair length...dunno, anything from shoulder to waist-length is fine, something I can grab onto y'know? (only kidding...mostly...>_<)

I have a thing for skin shades on the fairer side, not racist but...that's just what I lean towards in a girl, what can I say?
Anyway external looks account for maybe ~30-40% for me, 60-70% is personality. What's the point of looks if the girl turns out to be a total idiot right :S

Tee hee, I am happy to read through these and find that lots of the guys out there dig redheads, freckles, and natural beauty because that is me in a nutshell.

When is comes to guys hmmm...I like them chubby, tall, and hairy, with dark hair and dark eyes. Also, they must like to play rough sometimes otherwise they might not survive.

I do not do well with relationships because I am an alpha ***** but hears hoping I can meet someone who is cool with that

Short faces, round or 'heart' shaped. Ideally, she'd be equal to me in stature, but I'm fine with a little shorter or a little taller (I prefer neither extreme because I'm a bit of a fighter; I don't want to dominate in every case but I don't want to get crushed either). I don't care about breast size, but I'm an ass man, so skellies are out.

I don't mind hair colour. I mean, I love red-heads but.. I wouldn't ask a girl to dye it.

Guys what are your preferences for what women wear? Personally I prefer women that wear skirts or dresses. It makes them look much cuter and sexy. Though I dont know if clothes are actually part of external look. For me it is, but probably not for everyone.

I don't care about clothing whatsoever. In my own case, if I find something that works for me- a black button shirt for example- I'll buy 10 of them and leave it at that for a few years. I prefer it if a woman has the same attitude and dresses casually.

Most opposite to me are those with a penchant for expensive clothes or delicate clothes. If you can't be physically interacted with for fear of causing damage to some branded fabric, well I'm sorry; but no matter how good you might look in it, that's just stone cold unappealing.

Well dont you think it'd make a woman more appealing if she wears nice clothes? It doesnt matter if its something expensive or delicate really, just has to look good. Actually I think color is what matters the most in clothing. A woman would look much nicer if her clothes had a color, not just black or white which are pretty boring colors. Not just women actually, but anyone in general.

I find women who are emaciated, filthy and bedraggled fucking sexy. Just looking at them makes me think "wow, here is a woman who is really going to get me", know what I mean?

Regretably all the women like that I've met have been on full on class A drugs. I can't be with anyone with that level of drive or ambition.

External look? What about us people that like a womans internal looks? I love me some cute little kidneys.
If you play your cards right, those kidneys could become part of her external look as soon as the first date. If you've got the tools to pull them out.
Fixed, Dr. Lecter. No thanks necessary, just don't eat me.

OT: I really like short hair and nice legs. Breasts (and the size thereof) don't faze me that much, I just appreciate their existence. I also don't like a tiny girl. Too skinny or short and I feel like I should be walking her to school instead of taking her to dinner and a movie.
That being said, I can't even look at a girl's body until I know her. I know it's a bit odd (there's probably a long name for it in a textbook but I'm not gonna look it up) but I honestly feel, against all knowledge to the contrary, like people are like aliens to me until I get to know them personally. I know otherwise and treat people with honor and civility, but I just can't see people as human until I know them personally. I'm more than a little afraid of people, really. Long story short: finding a girl physically attractive is next to impossible for me unless we're friends. This has, of course, resulted in a lot of friendzoning and Big Brother Syndrome. I'm also bisexual as far as attraction is concerned, but that is countered by a physical dread of abuse brought about by my stepfather, so I avoid dating men not because I'm straight but because I'd be too paranoid to carry on a relationship. If anyone gives enough fucks to read this and wants to tell me what my clinical problem is or sounds like, I'd appreciate it. O benevolent one from another world.
