Every time CliffyB is mentioned, I cast my mind back to a somethingawful video I saw many moons ago. I think it was JeffK's guide to Lunix or something along those lines. Just the bit after the characters buy a copy of Red Hate, CliffyB has a little techno dance party for himself. I like to think that's what the real CliffyB does, in his fortress of solitude, atop Mt Doom.

He's only credited for level design. Yes, I know he is fairly talented, but no, he did not have a particularly major role in making the original Unreal Tournament.

The level design was one of the things that made it what it was (that, and the graphics/multiplayer). I agree that he didn't have a major role, but he still played an important part.
