For the two moral choices in Starcraft 2, which did you pick?

This thread assumes you either played the game or know the story so you know about these choices. This thread does contain spoilers and will reveal to very important moments in one of the highest rated games of the year.

Anyway, at three points your given a choice. They don't directly change the story in anyway (though we don't know it they will hold consequences down the line), two of them are pretty much moral choices, and the other is a "what threat do you want to get rid of" during the very end of the game.

If you have forgotten, the first one was...

You have to choose to protect a colony you saved from the Zerg from being purified by the Protoss while a scientist tries to come up with a cure to the infestation or purify the colony yourself for the Protoss.

The second was...

You have to choose joining a less then trustworthy Tosh, a "next gen" ghost called a spectre to help release his ghost friends from prison or the less then trustworthy Nova, a ghost from the Dominion who you help destroy the spectre factory.

If you notice neither of these are you told, before or after, that "This was good, or this was bad," which really made you think of which path you would take. You don't know if the problems will come to save you or come to bite you down the line. We have yet to get the other two parts of Starcraft 2's story. All you had were your morals, and your own sense of right or wrong.

My question is this, what of these did YOU choose? Protoss or scientist? Spectre or Ghost?

I chose Tosh, because he is awesome, and I chose to cleanse the colony because the Protoss are awesome. Really though, I thought the colony was completely screwed anyway, the zerg dont tend to do small scale attacks...
I didnt feel it was right to betray Tosh to some puppet of the dominion, so I now have an awesome space jamaican on the team.

I chose to help the colony and I sided with Tosh. The colonists may have been doomed regardless but I figured they deserved a chance at survival. Even if the infestation was incurable I reasoned that a few thousand extra zerg was inconsequential in the grand scheme of things considering they are a force without number. I sided with Tosh because even if I couldn't trust him explicitly, he was still the enemy of my enemy and that was a hell of a lot better than some Dominion conditioned bootlick assassin. I may not know if I can trust Tosh, but I damn sure know I can't trust a Ghost.

I did Tosh and the Colonists, mostly because of the achievements. Plus I couldn't turn down helping the nice scientist lady. ;)

I tried both, the first time I saved the colony and helped Nova

Cleansing the colony gives me the impression that there never was a cure, and that she was infected from the start with the intention of getting her people somewhere they could mass infect, but then saving her is like... well, they end up on an empty planet with no intention of goin anywhere, so it's like.... wtf - this one is definately not cut and dry
You want to beleive she does find a cure and saves her people, cause the other side of the coin is so depressing, alot of them die, she dies, and the rest of the colonists cant find anywhere to live and are treated like a floating leper colony
Even the protoss are like "gg's Jimmy, well played, peace" and no hard feelings

Tosh is a little easier, yes he's working with criminals, and use he's using the equivalent of steroids or PEDs to make them roid out, but he's honest with you every time something comes up, he offers good insight into what Jimmy is thinking and genuinly seems to care about whats going on
Nova's just like "he a bad dude, gotta stop it" - which if you help Tosh, you find out at the end it isn't true anyway, his methods are a little extreme, but again, he's upfront about what he's doing
Helping Nova you dont get any reveal at the end saying you did the right thing, or at least the lesser of two evils, but then again it's Nova, and I kinda helped her cause i felt bad about her not getting her own game :(

I saved the colony and killed Tosh, what's the point of freeing the people if your going to kill them and harbor phyco killers?

I saved the colony because I knew the Protoss wouldn't hold it against me if a cure was made, and I backed Tosh because A. I wanted to release the Anti-Mengsk free thinkers and B. I didn't want to alienate the Hyperion's crew by backing the Dominion (look how that turned out).

I helped Toss since I didn't really buy that he was insane and I didn't want to help a dominion ghost. Then I saved the colony because I didn't think a lot of them were infected and didn't want to burn the place down.

Sided with Selendis simply because I like the Protoss and I needed Protoss research. Then I sided with Tosh because I felt a bit of an attachment to him and it felt wrong betraying him.

Sided with the Protoss, because I would much rather piss off one crazy scientist lady than an entire hyper-advanced race that could be potential allies.
And I helped Toss because, well, he actually joins you. Nova does not.

I helped Tosh because well, I liked the psychotic nut. I saved the colony but you know, I kinda wish I'd worked with the Protoss because the scientist still annoys me a bit.

I helped the protoss because the protoss are infinitely superior to the science lady and she made a good point. The zerg must be cleansed.

I later helped tosh because tosh is a total bad ass. That and the Tosh mission is about six thousand times more fun then the Nova mission. I liked sneaking around sabotaging the front lines with tosh. I kinda wish there were more missions like that.

That and i love specters. About six thousand times stronger then Ghosts.

I saved the Colony because it just felt retarded to go through all the effort of saving them, and then execute them all. Besides, if there was a cure, it would look better to the other rebels, seeing that Jimmy could save they're collective asses if need be.

Then, I sided with Nova, because, well, she was the protagonist of Starcraft: Ghost. It felt too mean to go against her when her game flopped. Besides, Tosh was fucking creepy.

I then took out the flyers in possibly the easiest mission in that game. However, the Nydus worms overwhelmed me constantly, making me have to cheat on the last mission in order to beat it. I just didn't have the forces to run around and kill the worms.

I always side with da protoss, Hanson is a horrible character. like barely even 2 dimensional (and raynor better not forget he's in love with kerrigan dammit!) not to mention, fuck those colonists, how many times have I saved them previously?

Tosh and Nova though I've done both ways. I originally sided with Nova, becuase i really wanted starcraft ghost to come out, back in the day. but I eventually decided that tosh was waayyy cooler, and realized that it would be dumb for raynor to take the advice of somebody who is working for the man he is at war with...

After waiting years and years for the never arriving Starcraft: Ghost, you bet your ass I sided with Nova.

I killed the Doctor. She'd always rubbed me kinda wrong and I didn't trust her. Reckoned it was better to side with the Protoss than a bunch of infested refugees.

Sided with Protoss. Fighting them is just so annoying.

I haven't reached the second one yet, still fighting the infestation...

I backed Tosch. Why would I side with an assassin working for my arch-nemesis solely on her say-so?

I also backed the scientist. I wasn't about to let the Protoss get all genocidal after all I'd done to help out these people, at least not as long there was a chance to save them.

I saved the Colony. How were we supposed to win the heart of the Koprulu sector if we let aliens just wipe out an entire colony when there was a chance, however slight, that we could save them? Besides, Jim Raynor would NEVER abandon a human colony to be purged by the Protoss, if there was a way he could stop it.

I also killed Tosh. I didn't, couldn't, trust him. Ghosts are unstable enough as it is, with the Ghost Program essentially breaking them down into machines. Adding drugs to that just made it worse. Besides, helping Nova felt right: forming an army of psychopaths did NOT seem like my idea of a good way to win the rebellion.

We shall not speak of that here.

It is still too soon.
