For the two moral choices in Starcraft 2, which did you pick?

I saved the Colony. How were we supposed to win the heart of the Koprulu sector if we let aliens just wipe out an entire colony when there was a chance, however slight, that we could save them? Besides, Jim Raynor would NEVER abandon a human colony to be purged by the Protoss, if there was a way he could stop it.
He doesn't technically abandon the colony, the colony is already partially infested in the other scenario, and he stops the protoss from turnining it into a second Char - you save the ones that aren't infected and kill the ones that already are - you do manage to save the majority of the humans though - in this one Jimmy is just being realistic, he's seen what infestations can do many times (particularly due to Kerrigan getting infested, he's probably been in the situation of hoping for a cure more than anyone else), and even if she finds a cure there's no sure thing the Zerg wouldn't just adapt to it

That's what makes me thing the 'saving the colony' mission is just pointless, even though the other one is depressing as hell

I find it strange that many people think Nova was lying. They have apparently missed a news report which makes it clear Tosh and the other Spectres are, in fact, psychotic murderers. You know, the one with "zOMG huge explosion, thousands dead!!!1!1!eleven!!"

And i did save the colony... but this mission is retarded, if you ask me. If you side with the colonists, there are no infested settlements, and Protoss are just trying to burn everything down. If you side with the Protoss, there is a lot of infested settlements, but Protoss are not even bothering to help. Seriously, WTF is with that mission?...

I sided with Nova, mostly because she is fairly badass and I like ghosts.

I also razed the colony, something that I felt bad about, especially

after the good doctor Zerg-ified herself. It had the impression of a desperate move, or at least a person looking for one last shot at making a point. I actually felt horrible for killing all the infested people... you know what they say, one person is a murder but a thousand is a statistic.

Nova: Female, ghost, StarCraft:Ghost. That's about it for her character pluses.
Tosh: Funny voice, "rare" accent, black, new ghost, provides insight on things even if limited, supports the revolution, provides missions for cash and a better unit to train.

The colony missions were meh. Just got what I need more of in the face of research. But mostly went for shooting protoss.

Not lying, but intellectually dishonest. Well, she just comes out of nowhere and says Spectres are psychotic murderers. Considering most terran units have back-stories about being ex-convict murderers/killers, being informed that these guys are more of the same but more ghost-like, doesn't stand as a strong argument against Tosh. She does not offer assistance besides allowing ghosts, or supports the revolution in any more way. Her words carry little weight compared to Tosh's.

The first one is tricky. If you help the colony, you get a nice happy ending and the Protoss don't seem to be too butthurt over the whole thing. On the other hand, purging the colony results in one of the more awesome cutscenes in the game (Raynor and the "Doctor").

Also, what's the big deal about "purging" the colony? It's not like you're gunning down civilians. You're only shooting the infested. Heck, one of the objectives in the mission is to PROTECT the uninfested settlements. Everyone is being bitchy about it, but nobody had a problem with it a mission ago when you slaughtered a few hundred infested in the day/night mission. I'd understand the issue if the mission had you dropping nukes on the planet Exterminatus-style, but instead they have you protecting the colonists just as you did the whole time...

"Heaven's Fall" is also easier than the other mission.

----

As for the second choice, both missions are pretty fun. Nova is hot and siding with her gives you a pretty fun cutscene (poor Tychus), but Tosh is a great guy and I like to keep him around.

Helped the doctor, sided with Tosh. I'm a big fan of being loyal to allies in games.

Considering that helping her leaves the Doctor giving Raynor a kiss and not helping her results in a hybrid, does that mean she actually found a cure? That's gotta have implications down the line.

I went with the Doctor because she has boobs, and Nova because.. wow, am I that shallow? :) Actually I didn't feel good about killing off civilians, and I really didn't trust Tosh at all. Plus I've liked Nova since SC: Ghost was first announced.

Interestingly if you watch all the cinematics on the DVD with the Collectors Edition, it implies that siding with the Doctor, and Tosh are "canon". Wonder if they'll follow up on either of those later?

On the second last mission, I eliminated flyers which I think was the better choice for my playstyle.

I saved the colony because I wanted to get the next level of zerg research, and I chose to side with Nova because that way I could pretend I was playing Starcraft: Ghost.

I decided to destroy the worms because I wanted that damn 'One Shot 50 Kills' achievement. I ended up not getting it anyway.

47 kills in ONE shot... so close yet so far.
