So with the massive steam sales I've gotten a few games here and there, maybe some more in the coming days, but I finally decided to get TFU for the pc (I beat it a cazillion times on my xbox years ago)

Anyways to the juicy point of it, I installed that goliath sized of a game (30 gig's, really?) and started it up, runs fine, got everything going and it goes to the menu and loads up the new game in a synch, HOWEVER, the gameplay is beyond ugly blurry of unplayable shit

Does anyone know why the hell this would be happening? *I have tried googling 8-9 times and have gone through lots different websites and different forums and have found next to nothing, the only thing that ever remotely comes up is unlocking the framerate for TFU2 and that's it*

So just curious if anyone has encountered this problem or knows how to do a work around, i've tried turning crossfire off, turned off the details, etc..and none of it seems to do anything for it at all.

FOR DISCUSSION VALUE:

With steams "summer camp sale" going on, does anyone actually go to summer camp at all anymore?... I have yet to meet a single child I know who still goes away to camp anymore..not that that is a problem, just curious, and if you do know or if you work at one, what is it and what do you do there?

Your character must be drunk off his ass...

Have you tried contacting Steam support?
Haha that actually came across my mind once, but no I did not, I didn't think they could handle those kinds of issues, but its worth a shot i suppose.

I bought the GTA bundle today and GTA2 (the only one I've tried so far) keeps crashing. Might have to get on Steam Support myself...

just an update for people in case they run into similar problems, i figured it out:

I forgot with older games sometimes that quad core is the bane of all it's existence, so i turned it down to dual core and the thing ran like a fuckin beauty, so if you ever have similar problems to what i showed in the pic at all, go ahead and turn off a couple cores (or more) to see if that works for it.

That's normal, Force Unleashed is a crappy game.
Quoted for emphasis, a bad story layered on top of mediocre gameplay, you honestly wouldn't have missed much if the issue couldn't be resolved.

But hey, good you got it working, I hope you get more enjoyment out of it than I did.

Is it a bad thing that when I read the title of the thread the first thought I had was rearranging the letters in the word 'sith'?

Just curious...

I thought the gameplay was pretty good, and the story threw me for a loop.
See, I saw the whole turning good coming from the start, so I was just waiting for when we finally turn on Vader. But before we get a chance too, Vader turns on you. I honestly didn't expect the whole betrayal thing from Vader except as a revelation when he filled you in after you betray him.
Yes, I'm being sarcastic. Telling the truth, but really splitting hairs. Story is barely worth it, but I enjoyed the gameplay. But, that was on PS2, mate of mine bought it on Steam, downloaded it and it wouldn't work. Maybe it was the same problem, I'll tell him to try running dual-core... Still, 25 GB download!? How?
