First thought-

Dual-wielding lightsabers with enough Force Lightning to fill an entire room facing some kind of super-Rancor? Definite Moment of Awesome!

Second thought-

How the hell are they going to make the story work for a second time?????
Lightside ending is canon.

Therefor, Starkiller survived the assault and possibly revived by Vader (or some Jedi, possibly Yoda?). I mean, he did it before. Starkiller still hates his guts, so he seeks out someone to help him control his raaaaage. Because he was a Sith, though, he'll still have the conflict and temptation.

But this also means that - WE'RE GONNA FIGHT LUKE SKYWALKER YAAAAAAAAAAY because it's going to be during the first three of the trilogy.

I'm not sure how to think of this.

The only flaws were the length of the game, over use of quick time events, and, most of all, very clunky and boring lightsaber fights. Seriously, they only consisted of hack, slash, hack, slash.

However, I did love throwing a Storm Trooper 300 feet in the air. Whee!

I just hope the developers will learn from the first game.

Fuck no, if they put some serious effort into it and put some motion plus support, it'll be miles better than the first.

And of course, the general flaws of the first game (was good though).

I'm interested, not really excited.
But doesn't having Starkiller alive kinda fuck over the whole plot of the first?
I would be 1000x more excited if Star Wars announced they were making a KotOR 3.
And I mean a real KotOR 3, not that MMORPG bullshit.
100% true

the first game wasn't bad, kinda different from some of hte older games, liked the super force powers, and they darth vader level i lol'd at for a while, force pushing wookies off the bridge..priceless sound effects

kotor 3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> mmorpg

Oh joy, I look forward to the overhype and then my prediction months before release that it won't be good only to have no one believe me but then when the game is released I turn out to actually be right.

Eh, I might get it. I really want to see how Lucas Arts pulls this one out of their collective ass. Seriously, he blew himself up in the first game. I really want to see how they are gonna make this work. I feel like it is going to be terrible (storyline wise) but who knows, right?

Ugh! I didn't like the first one, I played through it purely to get the story, and I haven't picked it up since. Such a disappointment really. I wish George Lucas would let the poor dead horse go and walk away.

On the other hand I <3 KOTOR so Bioware should never let it go.

Well, this is sort of unexpected. But how the hell is this gonna fit into the canon of the movies? Won't this lead to Death Star-sized plot holes and inconsistencies? I like how Starkiller is dual-wielding sabers now (which is essentially the Star Wars equivalent of extreme badassery), but he's definitely going to die at the end, or else Lucas is going to have a lot of explaining on how he didn't survive and single-handedly take down all of the later events in the timeline (Starkiller could probably take down the Yuuzhan Vong all by himself). Just give me gameplay that isn't shit, SKIPPABLE CUTSCENES, and unlimited force power. That's all.

Yes that is what we need more of! That is the star wars game I grew to love. PROXY I'm real happy for you, and I'm going to let you finish, but HK-47 was the best Star Wars droid of all time!

I couldn't find an appropriate image for this... Useless google shit

Ok, the franchise has been milked dry, dehydrated, stripped of it's flesh and it's bones are already dust that scattered everywhere in the world! Let the fucking star wars die already!

Maybe this story is non canon, like the DLC?

It might be. Though as a sequel, it's probably going to continue the story. How Starkiller managed to survive will be interesting, but I hope they don't pull it out of their ass and at least give him a probable reason to be in the universe if he survives to the Original Trilogy and beyond.
