He doesn't die in the novelization, it just ends ambiguously. It's the game's fault that it didn't do the same. Kinda like the prequel novelizations being better written and more knowledgable than the script they put on screen.

Also, do we KNOW it is taking place during the original trilogy? Because THAT would fuck it up. While Georgie has declared Unleashed's Lightside ending to be canon, he couldn't possibly be crazy enough to mess with his trilogy that way.

I mean, that would be as if he made Greedo shoot first or show people celebrating the Emperor's death on CORUSCANT without stormies shooting down the crowds.

I'm curious to see how this plays out. I'm quite fond of the first game, so a sequel has good potential. However, I do have story reservations (I'm guessing a retcon is in order) and gameplay concerns when it comes to the dual-saber aspect. In the first game, one hand controlled the saber while the other was free for force powers; won't he constantly have to put one or both sabers away to use the majority of his signature force techniques?

Completely uninterested. The first game had a very boring fight engine, uneven game pacing, quicktime events (seriously, developers, just stop using that shit), and frankly I'm so fed up with Star Wars that I wish Lucasarts would burn to the ground just so that we'd stop hearing about that played out, shitty franchise.

I was shocked to see they were making another one. The first one had it's problems but it was still a great game and the story was better than most. So short I am now really excited for this game.

I liked the story in the first game, the gameplay was unpolished, i hope this one will be better.

And yeah, it does seem a bit silly that he's alive after the way the first game ended. Oh well, as long as the gameplay is much better than the first. Seriously, the first was functional, but there was a lot of things that could've been improved.

I'm not sure how to think of this.

The only flaws were the length of the game, over use of quick time events, and, most of all, very clunky and boring lightsaber fights. Seriously, they only consisted of hack, slash, hack, slash.

However, I did love throwing a Storm Trooper 300 feet in the air. Whee!

I just hope the developers will learn from the first game.

And stay away from the wii?

Fuck no, if they put some serious effort into it and put some motion plus support, it'll be miles better than the first.

And of course, the general flaws of the first game (was good though).

I get the feeling that the second TFU for Wii will be just another quick and easy downport, if that trailer is anything to suggest.

It had better follow the same philosophy that Ubisoft used for AC2. It had better be a 20 hour long apology... Well maybe not 20 hours, but they had better make the game be WAY better than the first.
