Hello from the U.S. It's time to share the nicknames of people you've met outside your home country. Some of the coolest people I met were not in the U.S.
Please use nicknames or other aliases to ensure this follows forum rules.

I met a guy in Canada and we called him "Crazy Jay". He was the CRAZIEST guy I've ever met! Aside from his eccentric behaviors and mannerisms, he was an avid tubing fan and would drive the craziest course on the lake called, "The Ride of No Return". I got on and took his ride. Near the end, he looked back at me, looked at his friends, and nodded. They let loose the rope attaching the tube to the boat and let me drift for 2 hours. They thought it was hilarious.

My Japanese host sisters nickname is Oriri, which always makes me laugh because it sounds like an asian version of the O RLY meme.

I once knew a girl from the Faroe Islands called "Mumi". Never learned her actual name.

My aunt form sweden is the only person i've met who wasn't from the U.S and shes very awesome. So in extinsion everyone form Sweden is awesome. Thats how it works right?
