I go to a school where a large majority of the students do not have English as their primary language. The ironic thing is, in the times where I do happen upon conversations between two native English-speaking students their dialogue will often be as filled by the F-bomb as it was back in High School.
Complaints aside, after hearing a particularly raucous one today over lunch, I couldn't help but wonder- is this annoying language deficit limited to English-speaking teens and posteens? Do schools in Germany, France, Japan, Russia, etc. have their students cursing with every third word outside a classroom, and if so what is the most common one? I'm told French and Russian language both have a huge selection to choose from, so it at least wouldn't be as monotonous... Just a bit curious, that's all.
