Japanese punk rock. When Japan does punk rock, they tend to do it really, really well.

I don't listen to enough music to have too much of an opinion on the matter (pretty much everything I listen to these days is Touhou arranges, which by theri nature of being a Japanese game have mostly Japanese or no vocals arranges), but these. I'll pretty much just list songs, instead of artists, because each of the youtube vids has the info in the description box.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Oq454v8gX0
I don't know what the song's name would be in Romaji or in English, but it's an arrange of "The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood" and "Luna Clock~Luna Dial," from Touhou: Embodiement of Scarlet Devil. It starts up more heavily around 47 seconds.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIDabexD5AU
Romanized, the title is "Katakoi no Tsuki." It's an arrange of "Broken Moon," a pre-battle theme from Touhou 7.5: Immaterial and Missing Power.

For the next song, have youtube annotations set to on, as there is a translation, along with song/cirle info, like who the singer is.
This is "Gensou no Sateraito," or, rather, "Fantasy Satellite." It's an arrange of "Greenwich in the Sky,' from ZUN's CD "Magical Astronomy." It really picks up at 41 seconds.

Hey, "Bad Apple!" is a good song. The annotations will name all of the characters for you if you don't know them.
-----
-----
-----
Keep the annotations on again, as the English Translation is done through them.
This is anarrange of "Beware the Umbrella Left There Forever,' from Touhou 12: Undefined Fantastic Object (UFO). Nice PV, righ?
-----
-----
-----
This is an arrange of "Bell of Avici ~ Infinite Nightmare," from Touhou 12.5: Double Spoiler.
The PV was done by the same person as the above one, even if the arrange was by someone else.

Like most of you, I could do this all day, only not once would I ever name a band that most people outside Touhou fandom would know.

EDIT: Also, here's a link to youtube user aghart101's channel, as most everything posted there is Touhou arranges with lysrics.

I'M NOT GAY.

to a lesser extent i wish i knew how to post embed videos.

You take the video code after the = symbol in the URL, and put it after "[youtube=". Like this:

"youtube=hKhMYqF8SAg"

Except instead of quotes, enclose it with [ and ].

Well now. This is one of the more interesting threads I've seen in recent months...

OT: There's a few out there that I quite enjoy.

1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCGDoBI_Suw
- If you've ever watched any CCC City or like Vinnie Veritas' work, you know who Jumbo are. If not, check it out, and then wander over to newgrounds and watch some of the best animation out there.

2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZmjvcbcbik
Fans of Rammstein will probably like E Nomine, if they haven't already heard them. Fun, kinda dark, some interesting chord progressions. His voice works so well with this song as well.

3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elyQ4ShVw-Y
May not be entirely in another language, but come on...Gypsy punk.

4) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_oT1qO9TmU
Romantic...but Belanova has a great sound, so deal with it.

5) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcR1KbbhRTs
Same group as before, but a bit more uptempo.

6) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL1q8GQGocM
Just because you can lol at the lyrics...or at least what they sound like

My God, that is such an awesome song. :D
Definitely. My friend showed me this a few months back, and I was thinking of it.

How does some German Folk Metal float your boat?
One of my favourite bands :D but Blut Im Auge isn't one of my favourite songs, particularly.

I also like J-rock like Balzac and Maximum the Hormone, Dimmu Borgir's Norwegian songs, and more folk metal like Hromovlad, Thyrfing, and Arkona.

I also like Caramelldansen and other old pop songs and Nightcore remixes >_<

Same, but I have the problem where I can't remember the names of any of their songs besides Blut Im Auge because that's the first one I heard by them.

I was going to put some Schandmaul up as a response, but it was literally impossible to find a Youtube video that wasn't a cover or didn't feature a lame GuildWars video or some goth/emo picture montage. Couldn't at least one person just be content with posting the song with the album cover?

EDIT: BTW, that is a nice song.

:p How does liking that song make you gay, lol?
Also, to post videos, type (bracket)youtube=(youtube code, the thing after v=)(close bracket). So, like (open bracket)youtube= hKhMYqF8SAg(close bracket) without the space, for your video. Quote me and test, to see if you got it right.

My personal non-English favorite right now is:
<spoiler=Sorairo Days! :D><youtube=n0n23BRt5Hc> Gurren Lagaan rules.

Most of my foreign language music is Japanese, either from anime or by bands that I got into because they did music for anime. So... here we go. These are my two favorites.
