Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. I know it's on the marketplace for the 360, but I really can't name one other person besides me that played it.

Oh, and remember to use the, "search" button in the future. =)
Drat you beat me to the punch. I was going to say the whole series.

In fact I'm going to go return to the valley of Spielburg RIGHT NOW!

PSO. The real PSO. I just loved the original Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2. Sonic team, why did you have to flip us the bird? Especially when you know there are a large number of us still loyal to that game?

Winback: Covert Ops, it's the reason why I think 3rd person shooters are better than FPS and why I enjoyed gears...despite gears being more streamlined in the cover system but more dumbed down in tactics.

Oh and who remembers the Ogre Battle games....hm?

RECCA, one of the origional and still one of the best shmups ever

Bahamut lagoon, my review of it sums up my thoughts on that gem.

Yes and yes. And yes to the total annihilation one too.

Anyway, on-topic...

Terranova: Strike Force Centauri.

On topic... Carmageddon.
As long as you ain't talking about the N64 version I agree.

In a way, Perfect Dark. Loads of people I know call GoldenEye the best N64 game ever when they completely overlook it's spiritual sequel, which I think is better in every conceivable way.
Hell no, I was talking about the PC version, I tried the N64 version, and never again.

Syndicate
Syndicate was AWESOME.
Shadow Warrior. A great little game from 3D Realms that came out shortly after Duke Nukem 3D. You can get it as Abandonware, despite its horrible controls and graphics and whatnot, it really is quite fun and awesome.
Also, the man character's name is "Lo Wang", and the first thing he says on the first level(if I remember correctly) is "WHO WANT SOME WANG?!"
It's AWESOME.

Crash Team Racing - hell yes I agree with that Vivvav! What a brilliant game that was. A serious rival for Mario Kart, but better because it didn't have Toad in it.

Small Soldiers had a game for PSOne that was truly brilliant, I wish I could find it.

And, of course, Sanitarium. Because that always has to be on the list.
I though I was the only one that loved CTR. That's one of my top favorite games of all time.

Planescape: Torment

Dark Wizard - I'm not sure if this counts as a "forgotten gem," since hardly anyone remembered it in the first place.
