Surely there are some fellow F1 fans in a community as large as this?

To any fellow fans of the sport who may be here, what are your thoughts on the upcoming season?

Personally, I feel that it may very well be the most exciting season in many years. Three new teams, several new drivers, a new circuit, the return of the most successful driver of all time, and exciting rivals all seem to await us this year. Realistically, there is really no way that this season can be a bore. There are just so many factors!

I'll be cheering on the Mercedes boys. Anyone else?

I'm not sure that Schumie's return will be such a good point. Yes, he surely is a great driver, but sportsmanship really is not his strong suit, is it?

I'm however glad that Eckleston finally closed a deal with Montreal to have a Grand Prix in June, it's going to be a nice week-end.

But really, since Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, I kinda lost interest.

Hell yeah! Gonna be great this year, Button and Hamilton on the same team and Schumies return. I want the Brits to win but I also wanna see Schu just school everyone.

Team USA have collapsed already. I was looking forward to Lotus getting back into F1 but they have 2 of the worst drivers in recent history: Trulli and Kovalienen (sp?). Trulli is crap, he'll qualify in 5th or 6th and spend the day getting overtaken and end up in 17th.

As a New Zealander I have always cheered for McLaren, and the battle between Button and Hamilton should be good.

Looking forward to the new season.

Word is that might be a bit difficult. The Mercedes is believed to be behind the Ferraris, McLarens, and Red Bulls. If so, it will be interesting to see what Schumacher can manage, and I am also interested in seeing how the unproven Rosberg stacks up against him.

I enjoy watching it and am intrigued by The Stigs Schumie's return at the grand ol' age of 40ish. I'm just wondering whether or not his neck will be able to handle the G-Forces. Nah, I'm sure he'll be fine.
It's also interesting to see Hamilton and Button on the same team now and how their battle will turn out.

But the WRC is more interesting to watch then F1, I feel.

Rosberg is an interesting variable, I have no idea how he will turn out. Yeah Im concerned about Schu I don't know if he can still perform to his old standard what with his neck and all.

His neck really isn't an issue anymore. In January, he said that it was fully recovered now, and he's seemed fine in preseason testing.

The only thing working against him, in my opinion, is the potential lack of pace from the Mercedes.
