I've posted quite a few things here now and I have to say that the community here is awesome. I used to reply to threads on the GameTrailers forums, but some of the people on there go so overboard its unbelieveable. I just wanted to know what communities you think are the best. Escapist for me.

I hate to be a search bar Nazi, but I'm fairly sure I saw a thread just like this one yesterday. Yes, I believe I did. Had a lot of angry people talking about Playstation Home and horny teenagers asking for ASL.

I always tell them 43/Ambiguous/Across the road.

They always tell me to GTFO.

This is the only forum site I've ever actually engaged myself in, so I cannot say anything about other forums.
So I'm saying this place is the best I've ever seen.

How did it get locked? Did somebody post pictures that they found on Cracked.com? I heard the community there are douchebags.

19-20 is for me the beginnings of intelligent adulthood. By that age your going to university/college and you no longer have your parents every day with you to do everything for you. Self thinking is required.

Yes, in general this community is much more well-spoken (written really) but we get our fair share of anger issue people (usually older than 12) who proclaim how great they are for their misanthropy and we most certainly get our fair share of trolls, they just tend to be more literate than other forums.

That said, this is one of the better forums of the net for sure.

If a troll is well written, I don't really consider that person a troll. A troll for me is someone who goes, "HAI GUYZ< HITLER IS COOL RITE?" Maybe I'm just too used to the retarded conversations people have on other forums, but most of the posts people make here, even if they seem aggressive, are at least well written.

Community I think is the best? Either The Escapist or Pokemon GTS.
Sure GTS is filled with a lot of dodgy offers but some people use Action Replay so that these unrealistic requests get a trade.

Somebody gave me a Ho Ho that had a Pokerus, now thats a nice thing to do. Maybe its just my limited experance with GTS but I like it.
Of course that isn't a forum community but I don't really go to forums beyond the escapist.

If that's what you think then I must politely inform you do not know what trolling is. Literacy has nothing to do with it, it's about intent; either attention seeking or deliberately trying to be controversial/annoy people.

Is just as much trolling as:

"lol Hitler rox killin dem gay Jews!!!11! rofl."

To give an example more relevant to The Escapist:

"The Xbox 360 is a completely worthless machine because Halo 3 is the only game anyone plays and even then it sucks and everyone who plays it should die in a fire."

Is not any better than:

"Xbox 360 playas shud die lmao cos they suk and r all fags cos they play Gaylo."

Except in pretending to appear more sophisticated.

By well written, I meant someone who makes a coherent argument and hides their true intentions well if they are trying to rile people up. Should have made that clearer. I would consider all the troll examples you gave as trolling.
