I have been trying to update my profile picture for a while. I have a gif I want and it's not allowing me to update it.

That is way way way too big. The Escapist SHOULD adjust it automatically but it does not sometimes.

Please hold and I will adjust the size for you soon

Upload that (yes, that's as big as it gets if you want to retain its correct aspect ratio and don't want anything cut out). Once you do, clear your browser's cache or else you won't be able to see it for a few days.

.Gif files need to be resized prior to being uploaded, or else they won't retain their animation.

Well your profile pic is a dead image right now so I'd say something didn't take...

Are you just using the URL and putting it as your profile pic? That's terribly unreliable so I would right-click and save one of our images to your Desktop and then directly link the file.
