I type this on a message box only consisting of 2 lines visible. All of the reply boxes at the bottom of the page are only big enough to fit 2 lines of typing in them as well. Both my phone and computer are doing it. (Android)

As of this line I can't see anything I just typed without scrolling up. Additionally, spoiler boxes don't work. I find it odd both my computer and phone started doing it today. Is there a setting that could have been changed in an update? Is it the site? I am kind of at a loss here. I already have been playing with settings and trying to figure it out and have even reinstalled chrome on my pc to no avail.

Any suggestions are welcome outside of using another browser (phone too), thanks.

I have had zero problems with either my phone or my computer (both using Chrome).

Try the usual suspects first (clear your cookies, clear your cache, run virus/malware scans, turn off extensions) and if none of that works, you might just have to bring it to the tech wizards.

Also, this might be a weird one but try to log out of your user name and see what happens. I don't know how or why that would help but your issue is kind of goofy since it's happening on multiple devices for you...

EDIT: I know you don't want to use a different browser but try a different browser just to see if it does the same thing.

JavaScript is not working on this website. That's your issue, however, why is a different matter. You might have turned off JS in total - thus it won't work on any website, this is a browser option; alternatively, if it's specifically the Escapist (or, possibly some other websites but not all), then it's a plugin - NoScript and adblockers can cause that, in that case it's a matter of editing config of the addon[footnote]or, more drastically, removing it. This is actually a good way of finding what's causing the issue if you don't have an idea - try disabling all addons and switching them on one by one [/footnote].
